By the way, if there are any BL fans out there, crunchyroll has a new anime with similar concepts—one office worker guy develops the ability to read minds by touching people when he turns 30 (something about 30 year old virgins becoming wizards in Japan, hahaha) and when he reads the mind of his male coworker, he realizes the guy is in love with him.
It plays off of some of the same kinds of tropes as Spy x Family (RE: mind-reading) but I think it's very well done and in some cases, thought-provoking.
Similar to Spy x Family, it seems to assume that if you could read people's minds, you'd actually see more of their good sides and empathize with them more (as opposed to assuming negative intent when you can't tell what someone is thinking and/or don't understand them / their motivations).
Anyway, the anime is called "Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!"
I feel torn rooting for Anya x Damian.
On the one hand, it's cute they're developing a strong friendship as children so that if they end up together, there will be a strong basis for their feelings (even though Damian thinks he might secretly be in love with Anya right now, his denial and overall tsundere-ness is helping him continue being relatively himself around her which is ideal for any partnership, whether it's a friendship or romance).
What I love most about this couple is that they both often see each other at their worst but at least in Damian's case, he still obviously cares about Anya afterward.
Still not 100% sure about poor Anya—she's basically forcing herself to tolerate and be kind to Damian because she thinks it's crucial for world peace or will please her father.
In that regard, Damian's love is technically more sincere... except his impressions of her courage, etc. are based predominantly on actions she made herself take in order to get recognized by him, which shouldn't sit well with most shippers.
Anya forcing herself to try to like him and get him to like her feels kinda like couples forced into an arranged marriage (making it hard to root for her getting with him).
I'll need go back and find the parts from previous chapters that Damian was thinking about during the dance scene from this latest chapter (to see if what he recalls were genuine moments of kindness, courage, etc. that Anya demonstrated vs. her trying to look tough).
I know it's a waste of energy to defend fictional animals/habitats but I still care more about them then your entitled rich ass.
Mowing down a whole ass forest to build a new love shack for your baby and baby mama / ruining an entire island to build a freaking J*CK-OFF MANSION ain't sexy flexes.
They exemplify why a bi*ch keeps almost going bankrupt! ಠ_ಠ
Need authors to recognize that truly sexy alphas/semes are men who are socially and financially responsible.
How is he eating chocolate and tucking onions and other stuff that's toxic to cats (garlic, tea, coffee, etc.)? I guess when he turned human, his digestive and other systems also switched over 100%? (눈_눈)
Wellllll, Kotetsu is technically not a cat now but he used to be one┐(´ー`)┌? Soooo I guess he was only left behind with the major characteristic of a cat. He was a cat beforehand sooo he "acts like" a cat but cannot act in a way that a cat can actually do it. For example, that part where he was trying to walk through a very narrow path (I think those were the railings??) He wanted to do the same thing a cat would do (cat walk through it perfectly and not fall off) but in the end since he was a human now (with cat features) he cannot do the very same.
Sorry, my explanation is way too kray kray༎‿༎ but I wanted to express my thoughts on this matter as well
I love how even though they're all a bunch of weaklings (rich kindergarteners and a stubby-legged 4 year old), when their hearts are really in something, they draw strength from seemingly nowhere to run at full speed/power.
Too bad the only ones out of the lot with even remotely pure(?) intentions were the 2 cronies lol
Damian: Motivated by pride
Anya: Motivated by num nums
Becky: Motivated by rom-drama (i.e., romantic voyeurism lol)
Cronies: Motivated by loyalty to protect / back up their friend(?) who they knew would likely be overpowered by Anya (like he always is lol)
I can't tell if all the misinformation is legit part of the story or just inaccurate translations. Please don't assume you'll lose muscle just from doing cardio/aerobic exercises. I've always been muscular / bulky and despite my best efforts to attain a cute, slim (unrealistic) anime-like body when I was a teen, the only thing speed-walking, jogging, elliptical machines, and other similar workouts ever did was make me healthier and fitter--which is awesome but yeah. My legs, biceps, neck, shoulders, etc. never stopped being muscular. The only thing that ever resulted in muscle loss was injuring my knee and having to keep off my feet for 3 months. I basically hobbled around on the one good leg and the difference between the two became so great that I started calling one leg "Bruce Banner" and the other "The Hulk". 0/10 would not recommend, haha.
you're right. The only reason cardio can make you lose muscle is if you burn more calories than you eat and don't get enough protein.
Obviously, that can happen way easier if you do both muscle training and cardio regurlaly. However, it's not a must if you watch what you eat or have good genetics. In conclusion, it's not entirely false but it's not right either. Especially without context.
If you love cats then adopt that adorable kitty you old grouch!
