i dont know if this is what you are looking for but the same author of yotsubato has a awesome manga: Azumanga Daioh.
check it out, its comedy and slice of life like in common with yotsubato....kisses (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

and it has a anime too...sorry if its not your type

Something like Barakamon or Usagi drop that you wanna find also Sensei no Susume?
