I keep waiting for the moment they'll do a major timeskip. And I mean he's 18+, not 14 or 15. Mostly because the romance is ... weird. Which is sad bc i like his chemistry and dynamic of both being powerful mages, her being calm and soothing, something he desperately wants.
&& I'm glad he was given an older love interest, an elf. But I wish it was someone he met, even briefly as a teacher, and then didn't see again until he was older (body wise). Would have been weird it was his teacher but she's an elf and he's a twice grown adult man so it checks out.
Her stating she can "sense" an adult man in him DOES NOT help. Like I can see what they were trying to go for, her understanding he's not actually a child, but that seemed even creepier to me.
There seem to be missing parts. The bully with the dogs, we missed that whole introduction to why he hates him or what, the demonstration and the introduction of his dad and brother. Everything we're getting comes from context clues.
Some parts seem rushed and while they might seem unnecessary they help smooth out plot. Cause is he still at the monastery? was he allowed back to his family home? he's allowed on missions but when was he even welcomed back. its just things that help with flow but since we dont see them its choppy and feels like we're doing cut scenes.
But I do love the art and the story is interesting so I'll keep going I guess

Let's be real the uke looks dumb as hell. He is portrayed as an innocent CHILD. His brothers and friends all treat him like a CHILD. He is drawn to resemble a clueless CHILD. His mannerisms, everything. The only adult part of him is the fact he's a doctor and I feel like they threw that in to give him a sprinkle of maturity.
The seme looks like a skinwalker. He kind of acts like one too. He acts the way a skin walker would think a human acts. His mouth weirds me out. it is so large. if he opened it wide enough he could probably eat the dumb uke and not in a sexy way.
I think the story wouldnt be so off putting if there was some type of personality and the uke's entire being wasn't "smol clueless little boy who is scared of everything". the only women who are shown often are the spirit captain cause they sort of work together, his niece and his niece's friend. the other women are work mates that have more of a "work superior" vibe. the redhead from the beginning isn't even in the picture except to show she's a bottom feeder without knowing anything.
he is literally not interested in women. he hasn't even mentioned one specifically or thought of one as special aside from his niece lol for now, that is. maybe one will appear later when the redhead becomes aware of who he is and they need a woman of his equal to show her she sucks ass now.
The only bit that disappointed me was when he got the solo leveling sung jinwoo summoning power like bruh not everyone needs to be a necromancer he was doing JUST FINE with his sun/lighting abilities. but it's not his main power and he has a fire sword so I forgive it.
