I mean overall I like it, but honestly the whole excuse of “I can’t be with him now, even though he still wants me, because I feel too guilty about leaving him in the past” just sounds absurd to me, especially when she’s supposed to be smart. Too much plot was wasted on constantly going over and revisiting this in my opinion. But this is probably due to the fact that the author probably felt it was necessary to keep reminding the reader of her feelings of guilt as even readers could easily recognise that she was a smart girl and should have been able to see how she too was a victim of her circumstances and wasn’t given much choice herself and her current behaviour of denial was hurtful to those she wanted to help.
Not hugely important, but a lot of the fruit shown in the images didn’t exist back then. The fruits and vegetables we recognise today only look the way they do through thousands of years of human intervention and originally looked nothing like what they look like now. In fact some vegetables are derived from different parts of the same plant (like cabbage and Brussel sprouts and kale for example- if memory serves correctly).
Was rereading and went to the trouble of finding this information for myself, so I figured I’d just post it in case anyone else wanted to make use of it since I had it anyway. But there are ads on these sites and I have no idea if they are fully safe, but they didn’t piss me off too much with overdoing the whole ad thing like many others do. To be honest I was really only looking for the missing/repeated chapters, but came across the extra season 2 chapters first by accident.
For missing ch.49 go to [ https://readpark.net/title/226167-en-one-day-suddenly-seoul-is/7619263-vol-1-ch-49 ]
- For missing ch 77, an important chapter to the plot line, go to [ https://www.mgeko.cc/reader/en/one-day-suddenly-seoul-is-chapter-77-eng-li/ ]
Ch 124 = start of season 2
- for more ch.s missing here at the start of season 2 go to [ https://mangafire.to/read/one-day-suddenly-seoul-iss.rjvyo/en/chapter-1 ] — though you can’t continue reading season 2 here as that mangafire site just bookended season one with the start and end episodes of season 2. While they do still have some ch.s that are omitted here at the beginning of season 2, that’s all the site really offers. But I’m tempted to not visit this site anyway because bookending season one with season 2 episodes is a dick move that neither satisfies those looking for either season and it pisses me off cos it just wastes everyone’s time.
The rest of the series / the completed series (Nov25) go to: [ https://mangapark.io/title/226167-en-one-day-suddenly-seoul-is/9914155-chapter-143 ]
I’m a little annoyed that the dyslexic cousin was used as a plot device to get the MC reading the WebNovel. It implies those with dyslexia can’t read for themselves, so why try, just pay someone else. I’m dyslexic, granted I choose more to read webtoons and manga for leisure as the sections of words are broken up which makes things easier but that doesn’t mean I can’t read normal text, it’s just a lot more difficult for me no matter how much practice I get. To compensate, ive just taught myself to read faster, so I make the mistakes faster and then in turn correct them faster so others around me never really noticed. But I would prefer to spend a whole afternoon trying to read just one chapter than having my dad pay my older male cousin to come over to read me romance WebNovels on a frequent basis.
I think the story would have been better if less condensed. It’s a similar trope to those seen before, but because its so short and condensed the characters go through their journey too quickly for the reader accept it all as believable. Also due to this quick progression the seme doesn’t regret long enough and the Uke forgives too quick and things appear to be fixed too easily.
I do not know the reason for this shortness (laziness, time-crunch?), but this was the wrong type of story to try to fit into 10 chapters.
Another one where the uploader has put a placeholder and then forgotten about it, thus skipping out a whole chapter which wouldn’t have been skipped if not for said placeholder. If you have enough pride as an uploader to put in placeholders you should at least take the responsibility to upload over them as promised, otherwise don’t use them.
Placeholders are not just a way to claim ownership as an uploader but they also mean you are taking certain responsibilities as uploader for the next chapter.
Don’t even put place holders if your incapable of remembering to replace them. That’s what place holders are, a promise you WILL come back and upload the chapter. Not the selfish “ my spot, my spot” sign that many uploaders seem to use it for in order to mark their territory. It’s all well and good if they actually do a proper job, but why boguard when you don’t plan to do a proper job. Because in my experience most uploaders/translators don’t even proof read or double check their uploads. It’s something that takes minimal time but can cause massive impact.
After reading this, one person complained because I ‘shouldn’t complain about translators ever’ as this is an illegal site and I should be grateful for it.
I don’t believe this person, who may or may not be a translator/uploader themselves, really read what I wrote properly as they have failed to grasp the point I was making if all they thought was that I was complaining about translation quality. They were clearly swayed by their own personal bias’ and it has left me quite annoyed to be told I’ve meant something I haven’t when it’s written there for everyone to easily read as many times as they want for clarification before hitting post.
So I have 2 points to clarify here:
Firstly, are you saying we can’t complain when there’s nothing there - that’s nothing, zero effort waisting both their own and everyone else’s time and effort by putting a place holder. Read specifics before getting overly defensive. This is the only one case I do think straight complaining about most translations/uploaders is fine, but this is not refered to or mentioned in my original comment.
Secondly, to clarify, when I complain about bad translations/uploads, my complaint isn’t about the bad translation/upload itself or the effort that was put into it. But instead my complaint was that they so proudly boguard (hog) the position to translate/upload a chapter by putting placeholders, therefore possibly preventing someone who actually wants to or is able to put more or better work into their translations/uploads.
Wait… we can’t complain when there’s nothing there - that’s nothing, zero effort waisting both their own and everyone else’s time and effort by putting a place holder. Read specifics before getting overly defensive.

READ COMMONS PROPERLY BEFORE YOU GO AHEAD MAKING YOUR OWN ASSUPTIONS BASED ON YOUR OWN BIASES.
But why remove my comments tho.....lol
Ps I told u go watch the 30+ ep that's there. Not like there is no other alternative.
And yeah make ur complain but isn't it stupid to complain about other poor efforts where it's not like there's other site u can read the ch. I might understand if this was the only illigal site that have uploader but its not.
I don't upload myself u see(check my acc) cuz it's fucking hard work so i really respect uploader who goes out of their way to upload it. Plus it's mangago an ILLIGAL SITE there will be fucked up upload.
I think u should just stick to the original site. I recommend lenzen or something lol (︶︿︶)=凸
I’m starting to get that no matter what I write you are looking for fault, whether it’s there or not. My comment was in direct reply to your own, so if you read it that way, it makes sense. I write so much because I’ve learnt how to use proper words, sentences and punctuation - you should try it.
I have autism and simply can’t stand it when someone misinterprets my words, especially when they do so in such a negative way and you have done so 3 times now. So even though I am physically disabled (and I’m also dyslexic) and it causes me great pain and difficulty to write all these words that you just so carelessly harassed as being bad, I have still written them to try to explain myself and help you understand, but your understanding seems to have gotten worse each time. I know my writing is good, I was University educated in humanity subjects, meaning my essay skills are very high. I used to get payed to help others with essays and I’m a novelist.
I think I’m going to stop after this. It’s funny how your original complaint was that I shouldn’t ever complain about translation quality no matter how shit it is, yet you are quite happy to attack my writing which is not shit - if your having trouble understanding it, that’s more to do with you.
I love how they, like others, tell you to support the author by purchasing further chapters if u want to read more but they never ever tell you how or where. Because I am having trouble finding it. It feels as though those suggestions are merely fake attempts to ease their own feelings of guilt or to make them look better to others and are not expected to be acted on. You’re doing something dishonest, if you feel a little guilty the least you can do is be honest about the fact that your being dishonest instead of trying to cover it with a false pretence that you’re somehow helping the author.

Who the hell loaded up a repeat chapter as chapter 41? Why would u do something so cruel to us? Getting us all excited for a continuation of the story only for it to be a repeat. I had a super rotten day today and I did not need this at the end of it.
