Is any human still running MangaGo?
It feels like no one is really running MangaGo, or at least isn’t taking it seriously. Because this site seems to be suffering some serious issues stemming from the fact that the site is incredibly outdated by at least 10 years.
A bunch of manga are starting to get multiple copies of chapters uploaded, often out of order, which immediately turns u off reading the manga from this site or the sites that uploaded them. This is most likely due to bots automatically uploading the chapters without recognising they are already there.
The bots are easily accessing this site because it’s still using the long outdated sign in method of using capcha which bots can be programmed to get past. Making the capcha sign in and constant sign outs completely useless at keeping out bots and only useful at constantly annoying users for NO REASON.
It’s just all getting too much: first the constant sign outs and tedious sign ins, u then lost all our data and now if I wanna read something I’ve gotta re-order the chapters while reading, deal with several repeats or find and read it elsewhere. I feel like I might as well just start looking for somewhere else to permanently read my manga seen as how I’m having to do so for several of my reads anyway.

I’m getting so jack of this. There are many yaoi I wanna read but when I see the mess of chapters like this, I’m like “screw this shit”. What the hell have the uploaders been smoking to make them think this is a good idea? Even if your goal is publicity, there is such a thing as bad publicity u know and annoyingly bad publicity spreads faster and sticks in one’s memory better than good publicity does as well. I know I’ll remember myth toons, spring, desire scans, and kaizan as being annoying uploaders who don’t really know what they’re doing and can’t get their shit together and organise properly - wasting their own and everyone else’s time and energy in the process.

Why the hell are uploaders going around and doing 3 uploads of heaps of yaoi chapters lately? When I see that I just can’t be bothered reading them at all. Even if I did read them it would only emphasise the better or first translation over the others, so the other uploaders aren’t really doing themselves any favours so I don’t get why do something so annoying that will only make themselves look worse.

I’m sorry, but when I see 5 5 5, 6 6 6, for the chapters (and this seems to be a recent trend with webtoons of late), i basically think: “well screw that, I’m not bothering with that shit”. You uploading cos u want your chapters read but by being stubborn like this it means all 3 are less likely to be read. It also means your upload is compared to the other 2 by those who do read (either by quality or speed) so if yours isn’t the best u r just making yourself look bad by comparison. It’s annoying to readers and I don’t get why uploaders do such stupid shit.

I used to own chickens and one time after watching them hunt down and tear apart a mouse, I thought to myself “ damn, us humans would be so screwed if chickens became bigger than us (or maybe even the same size). I was slightly traumatised back then, thinking their hunting techniques were absolutely lethal, full of gore and without an ounce of mercy. In fact I feel like this manga could have even gone darker and with more gore if it wanted (without even needing the sexual stuff) based on real chickens.

With the chickens I saw, there were two that grabbed either end of a live mouse and pulled (like a tug-o-war) until it broke in half as the other 2 chickens were pecking at its middle. And when it finally broke in two and it’s insides fell to the ground the 2 chickens that were pecking at it got excited as though it were a broken piñata and went running in to collect. I saw similar behaviour with worms many times but it was different every time I saw them hunt mice and lizards as I could empathise with them a lot more. I guess if u can empathise enough there are a lot of circumstances more horrific than any fiction being lived all the time.

Who the hell loaded up a repeat chapter as chapter 41? Why would u do something so cruel to us? Getting us all excited for a continuation of the story only for it to be a repeat. I had a super rotten day today and I did not need this at the end of it.

I mean overall I like it, but honestly the whole excuse of “I can’t be with him now, even though he still wants me, because I feel too guilty about leaving him in the past” just sounds absurd to me, especially when she’s supposed to be smart. Too much plot was wasted on constantly going over and revisiting this in my opinion. But this is probably due to the fact that the author probably felt it was necessary to keep reminding the reader of her feelings of guilt as even readers could easily recognise that she was a smart girl and should have been able to see how she too was a victim of her circumstances and wasn’t given much choice herself and her current behaviour of denial was hurtful to those she wanted to help.

MangaGo just dumped all my want to read, now reading, already read info. Years worth of saved information on reviews and more importantly what pages i was up to all gone. I’m talking well into the 100,000s too. Pissed is not near strong enough a word to describe my feelings at the moment.

Not hugely important, but a lot of the fruit shown in the images didn’t exist back then. The fruits and vegetables we recognise today only look the way they do through thousands of years of human intervention and originally looked nothing like what they look like now. In fact some vegetables are derived from different parts of the same plant (like cabbage and Brussel sprouts and kale for example- if memory serves correctly).
