Only character I care about is the brother. Her having feelings for the crown prince out of nowhere was weird af. And somehow she trusted him more with her secrets than she did her brother. And for someone who spent the majority of her feelings without emotions, she absolutely sucked at hiding that she had them back. I read about 10 chapters and jumped ahead every 5 chapters and boredom never left me. The wasted potential here was annoying.
I was lowkey hoping for a split personality situation because I was eating up the idea of revenge but the way she was blushing in the early chapters… I think I’m good. The spoilers telling me my wishful thinking wouldn’t happen sealed it for me. I like my revenge stories to have more grit and oddities. Now who is she supposed to get revenge on? The good brother? The bad brother who won’t even be with her in this lifetime, so what’s the point of revenge? Yeah, I’m good.
They’d all be much happier if they just showed each other their real faces. Trying to bury what feels like their darkest parts and darkest feelings means they’re burying parts of themselves. It must be so stifling, especially as teenagers going though all the messy feelings that comes with adolescence. My worry now is how much he’ll resent the FL once he finds out she knew. He’s way to emotionally attached to Gaon to take that well.. maybe that will be their breaking point before the timeskip people talked about a while back.
… off the mark, once again (no surprise there)
Here is what I said, word for word: “Knowing she (the FL) loves him that much and asking her to keep something that big a secret from him… I don’t know, it might just be me, but it feels lowkey vindictive.”
Note that I used the word “lowkey” because it’s something she probably feels subconsciously. Gaon admitting to have darker emotions she hides herself from shows that I wasn’t reading too much into it.
Also, being vindictive isn’t being evil. Stop twisting the word to fit what you think it means. Everything we’ve learned about her in the last two chapters gives her new layers that makes her more appealing to me as a character as I’m always drawn to characters with shades of grey that makes humans Human. If that’s evil to you, then to each their own.
Once again, you’re off the mark on your interpretation of what I was saying regarding why she felt lowkey vindictive to me. And rest assured, I wasn’t speaking on this for your benefit. If you’re going to relay my words to someone, I’m sure as hell going to make sure you’re actually relaying my words rather than your own opinion on what I said.
He’s going through this first love thing like a teenager who feels like their feelings are too big to contain so it overflows until it feels no different than the end of the world. I’m glad we go to see that he actually has good friends outside of his F buddy (Suhwa?). I hope we see them more along the way. I’m suddenly wondering if any of them were in the foster system with him.
And as much as I love Mokyeong, I can’t help but respect Nanjo in this situation. I’m fascinated by the fact that it seems he also has feelings for Mokyeong, but has too much self/respect to let that be enough to be with him. He’s got the kind of energy I absolutely love in a person. Super curious to know where that will lead them down the road, though.
Jurion is lucky that’s all that happens, considering his grandfather found only half of what he was doing. I really hope both Ian and the grandfather survive whatever fk’d up shxt he comes up with next. I can only imagine. If the grandfather ends up dying as a result, he’s 100% going to turn his brother against him.

Hadn’t read a chapter since a couple of chapter before season 1 ended. Binging this was fun. Reallly love how freaky they both are, but especially my ML. Love every bit of him.
