Stories like this give me dark undertone vibes. Like she’s having this mysterious air about her that makes me feel like she would do well as a character who acts like they didn’t give af anymore, but is lowkey yandere about you… I don’t know if that makes sense. Characters like that have a scary edge when you don’t know what the mystery is about.

Also why are people that surprised at the pairing? Did the setting lead yall to think they came from a time period where people get together when they’re only a couple of years apart? Honestly, seeing things from his POV, I can see he strictly cherished their friendship. He was her best friend, but she always wished she could be with him. That’s different from how he personally handled that dilemma. Like sure, he loved her, but he cherished their friendship so much that he dismissed the potentiality of a romantic pursuit. I’ve done that before so that might be why I understand him so well.
I do not need this love triangle bullshxt to anctually exist. Why give blondie feelings at all? The last thing we need is him running interference to prevent them from making actual progress romantically.
