Currently at chapter 106 and no romance with the protagonist and only brief romances with others

Romance is being used more for convenient plot devices in this one. So like, a side character is looking for her missing husband. A villain lusts after a woman and it causes him to commit atrocious deeds. The MC himself is more concerned in being helpful and taking care of his friends & family. One girl has a crush on him, but they kinda poke fun at her for it & the MC seem pretty uninterested or unaware

Why are you even reading this? This is technically fluff. The whole story is just fluff. Of course there’s probably gonna be romance, even if it’s not for like the direct main character.

First off everyone's wussy next to the mc, also wanting to stick together with people during a literal apocalypse is a very normal thing. I swear if she was a man nobody would complain. It's perfectly acceptable to not want romance but to immediately call a possible female lead a bitch when we barely know anything about her yet comes off as very misogynistic.

Lmao you're so real for that. Solo leveling downgraded when they suddenly shoved her as the wife and I never looked back. I actually like the gym divorcee and the doctor, they seem cool and would definitely be able to hold their own as far as I can see, the only thing holding the uncle back is probably his kid which kinda sucks. With how much that girl was intruding the early chaps, Ik she was going to be a problem. Hopefully the story doesn't disappoint and make her actually hold her own without having mc and dingo saving her behind 99×.

I swear if she's the first person he reveals his traits to I might combust. Ahhh I miss Riki from the last adventurer. She's the coolest one I've encountered so far in an action fantasy manhwa

oh it's not gonna be like solo leveling on that aspect, unless they change things up drastically for the manhwa (which they haven't been doing so far, only shortened some details), mc's character is more like dense in romance and he's so awkward around women for a long time

but will there still be romance? cuz I want to quit while it's early, I'm tired of wasting my time like in solo leveling

as far as i read on the novel, even after mc got OP, he only ever got teased by the summons when he interacted with women, but mc is just too shy to ever respond or think romantically. even the summons try to match him with his summoned women, but it's still not working as they intended, and that's like 400+ chapters in, the summons want to see mc date lmao, but the reason is actually pretty cute, the mc is always focused on other people problems but rarely thinking about himself. mc is displayed as a righteous character/hero who saves a lot of people but still humble, but he is still gaining benefits from his missions.

anyway, imo, i find this one of the best manhwa or novel for a new one (at least i just found put since the manhwa). i love mc interactions with the summons and future friends. sorry for the long reply.

as far as I read up to final chapters and even the side stories (ch. 350 something) there isn't a romance, only a past crush that the MC happen to met again, but nothing happened between them... MC been busy running wild in other paralel earth and wrecking havoc lol lol lol

I haven't finish reading the side stories but there's no such a thing in the main story rest assured... even if there'll be a romance on the side stories, I think it would still worth to read cuz the MC really put his heart and soul to free not only the earth he reside in but other paralel universe too even in the side stories... he deserve to have someone he cherished aside from his summoned beings and family members...

and there's no such a thing as harem even tho he has a lot of female summoned beings, Kosack only tease them occassionally as a light joke, nothing too serious

if you plan to read the novel, I would say go for it, if you could just accept a minor plot hole here and there, it's a pretty good read and full of jokes to light up your day

I recommend reading other idol mangas if you want straight bromance without any romance! It’s literally the best genre with pretty boys galore! I highly recommend debut or die if you haven’t read it yet!
