So the reapers apparently vanish when they start to feel things. Originally, reapers are humans who are being punished because of the crimes they committed. I wonder if gaining emotions back is actually how reapers end their punishments. I think they said theres a certain amount of time they have to serve, but maybe it’s some corny thing like “once you learn compassion and how to be human again, you get to pass on or be reincarnated or something”. Once again, it’s pretty corny but I’ll take it over 704 just vanishing
I think Yama said they get sent to the depths of hell if they don’t finish their sentences but I’m not quite sure. But if the power of love causes reincarnation for reapers then that sounds kind of like an anime cliché..

This took an interesting turn. It’s like watching the ice cream truck drive down the neighborhood street, but then it just does a 90° into a fire hydrant, explodes, and takes out the entire block.
