I’m gonna get real for a minute here. I’m really disappointed and disgusted with the way the side story turned out. I almost couldn’t finish it but I figured I owed it to myself after coming this far. What MD did was wrong. Point blank period. Forcing Chanwoo to get so uncomfortable with the situation that he has to safe out. Bringing another man into their arrangement that had just hurt and manipulated Chanwoo. Chanwoo feeling like he had to continue with the scene out of some distorted loyalty to MD. It’s really so disappointing. And we’re supposed to buy that this is a love story? I don’t think so. Their relationship is, frankly, toxic and Chanwoo should have walked away after MD confessed his feelings. MD turned into a huge jerk and I hate that. Chanwoo definitely deserved better.
there was a lot of toxicity in both relationships that was briefed over but even though it was a dick move on MD'S part he respected the safe word so idk how that was wrong. Chanwoo willingly went along with it because HE wanted to continue to be MD's sub.
I don’t understand really. It’s obvious that Yu is Dou Dou, especially after that flashback. They look exactly the same. But what I don’t get is why he’s hiding the fact that he’s Dou Dou. If they were such good childhood friends, wouldn’t Yu be happy to reconnect with Guan Cheng? It doesn’t make sense. We need more chapters!
I’m really not liking the route this is taking. Chanwoo was doing nothing wrong with wanting to date Seung-Hyun as he already told MD he didn’t want to date him. It wasn’t right for MD to throw Seung-Hyun into the mix and threaten and rile up Chanwoo like that. Now you can tell Chanwoo is doing stuff he isn’t comfortable with just to please and stay in MD’s good graces because he doesn’t want to lose him as his Dom. This is really not okay. And the fact that MD slapped Chanwoo for not wanting to make out with a man that led him on and manipulated him just to get to MD. I don’t understand why MD took it to level and brought Seung-Hyun into their arrangement. I can kind of understand more if the creator is ultimately going for a triad or m/m/m situation. However this is still turning out toxic for Chanwoo and MD. I used to really like this pairing, but I’m quickly changing my mind.

well story about the main couple also had similar issues right. it made me uncomfortable and i was about to give up when the story of these two came shining trough, and up to two chapters ago i really really liked it. and now we get another dickhead seme. great. can't live without those. i'll just wait till his redemption arc is finished to read on.
first off, get your terms right. sm ds are kinks, fascination with particular object is fetish. in a healthy bdsm relationship bottomsubmissive has equal, even greater greater power then top/dominant in terms of deciding on plays and dynamic specifics, while the other side gets to enjoy manifestations of power. that's what makes the relationship balanced and thus healthy. being submissive doesn't mean you have no right to be respected and being in a bdsm dynamic doesn't exclude love and romance. consent is way MORE important in bdsm then otherwise BECAUSE it is borderline violence, and trust is a must. that being said, enjoy the story if you can, just don't take it as realistic or healthy

Ahh I see now. All his friends deserted him for being gay. They thought it made him a bad person, I guess. And someone needs to knock Guan Cheng across the head. There’s nothing wrong with being friends with a gay person. Treat them just as you have before you learned their sexuality. It doesn’t have to be a big deal. But he really should have explained his thoughts better to Yu. That it isn’t because he’s gay, but because he thinks he has a boyfriend and he doesn’t want them to get caught in what seems like a compromising position.
It’s clear Yu is hiding something from Guan Cheng. I think it’s possible that he’s the childhood friend and Yu doesn’t want to admit it for some reason.
Also, the things people were saying to Yu were terrible. If they truly didn’t like him for whatever reason, they could have just stopped being his friend instead of tearing him down like that. I’m guessing that now he doesn’t have any real friends... just people he pretends to be close to be keeps them at arms length so he doesn’t get hurt again.
