It's a cute and somewhat funny story about a 6th grade transfer student who, for some reason, sees the most popular guy in her class as a freak with a cat's head. Occasionally, she'll catch the slightest glimpse of something like a human face and thus fuels her determination to see what he really looks like.

Definitely young for me, but it was still fairly enjoyable. Nekota was a cute kid and there were moments that touched even a jaded adult like me. Gotta say, I was really let down with his actual face, though. It just seemed...off. Like, I could tell what look the author was going for, but it didn't end up quite right and he looked a bit deformed.

Synopsis: After her father is rushed to the hospital, Ririko is forced to take over his task for their family "Handy-man" business- to help clean house for a certain "Mr. Suou"...

Waaah I finished reading this! Only took 3 or so years of on again off again manga reading! All in all, it was a cute story. At times, it seemed about to sink into common shoujo tropes, but it managed to pull itself together and retain that light-heartedness I love just in time. The characters were...fine, I suppose? While a few of them were spoiled to the point where it irritated me at times, no one was truly unbearable. Even the part with Suou's mom that looked like it was gonna turn into a 3 volume drama filled sob story was cleared up in 2-3 chapters. Everything that would have had me rolling my eyes had they lasted any longer stopped just after I thought "lol, these people are silly". The ending may have been rushed, but I don't feel like dragging the story out further would enhance our impressions on the characters or plot or anything, so I rather liked the way it ended (though I'm a bit sad to see it go). Long story short, this was a nice, fun story that didn't take itself too seriously.

Cute shoujo about a girl who's obsessed with appearances and her falling in love with her childhood friend, who's perfect in every way except for his size.

This author breaks the 4th wall a lot with her series, which is...meh I guess? It's fairly interesting the first time but gets more and more boring/repetitive as time goes on. Glad the series didn't stretch out too long as it would have become super monotonous (and it was moving towards that a bit as is), though I wouldn't have minded a few more chapters that explained what was up with Takuma's genes that made him and his family like that...

Mihane, daughter of the main couple for Junai Tokkou Taichou, has a scary (read: terrifying) face. But that doesn't stop her from falling in love -and chasing after- the handsome Touma.

Mmm...it was hilarious! The main character was funny, crazy, and just an all around strange person. I didn't much care for Touma- he was kind of an asshole in the beginning and then just passively received the benefits of Mihane without really doing much of anything. Towards the end, a bit of personality started to emerge so I do wish it could have continued a bit more.

At first I hated it. The dialogue/narration was super repetitive, everything either trudged along at a snail's pace or completely sped through/skipped over scenes, and the story was just boring. Most importantly, I hated everything about the MC, especially the way she adopted this holier than thou attitude and blamed everyone else for her decisions. I was glad to see her turnaround at the end, though; at the very least, I preferred her when she embraced her own shallowness and chose to live the way she wanted. Still can't say I liked her even at the end, though.

In all honesty, I quite liked Jo's character, maybe because I could understand her feelings/actions? She was neither a saint nor a villain; I can completely relate to her desire to on the one hand help someone who was just like a younger her and, on the other, hating the MC for thinking she could succeed where she(Jo) failed. And it's her character (and the MC's turnaround) that made me give this 3 stars instead of 1. But...I still can't claim to have enjoyed it, though it was a very new experience for me in the world of manga/manhwa reading.

I feel like every so often I end up on this page, see that it's completed and go "since when? I don't remember completing it!" Then I reread the whole thing again, forget to mark it as complete and go through the whole process again in another few months. I guess that means I just don't want it to end lol. But seriously, it's super cute and the first few chapters show potential for it to be a good, long story, with him getting rejected by his first love, having some more adventures falling in and out of love a few times, making more friends, etc, and then eventually hooking up with his girl friend. The way it ends is cute, but I didn't want his character to go away so soon I guess.

Nice smutty oyaji goodness! Let's ignore the nonsense that is the Kidd's story...

Girly hobby lover on the inside, manly man on the outside, Asuka Masamune lives a difficult life trying to maintain a facade to protect his image (and delicate family life). Even otomen can fall in love, though! And fall in love he does, with the adorably delicate beauty with the flower like smile and iron fists.


It started off as a fairly cute story, but dragged on much longer than it needed to. I think there are 30-40 chapters in the middle somewhere I never actually read; I would sort of come back sporadically, read a chapter or two to figure out what was happening, and then move on. So, honestly, to this day I'm not too sure how it ended.

Edit: I originally described this author's one shots as mediocre, but I was wrong somewhat. They're mediocre when you binge read 20 at once because you're overloading your brain with so many characters and plots that you'd need some thing stellar to make an impact that can last past the next couple stories. Her series are much more memorable since you have time to learn to love the characters.

But her one shots aren't bad athing all. They're rather cute, in fact. Certainly can't say they're super memorable, but they give all I want from a one shot- a bite-sized plot that's a snapshot of real life high school love (fancified of course), not too much drama, characters you want to cheer for, and a romance that makes you grin. Overall, just adorable

College student Taiga, after a successful confession to his love-at-first-sight work senpai, casually breezes over her reply "I'm a fujoshi; is it still okay?" Once they start dating, however, he begins to understand just what that means...

Rather funny story. The girlfriend annoyed me a bit with her insistence on pairing him up with the world, to the point where he even wanted to hide the fact that he had a somewhat close relationship with another male character. So I guess I wish I could have seen a more satisfying confrontation on that point. The MC's friends were hilarious though- Kouji may have been my favorite character of the whole series.
