I was expecting a better exit for Muchan's character. Like he could have at least given a chance to leave on his own with his dignity intact and maybe not have him entangled with his family's business or something. The characters were all just generic pieces of plot except for Muchan at the very least.
I was able to finish it after trying to read it and stopping midway for a few times. I do love the story. I came here for Jaeho and Ian's story but ended up getting fed by their whole family tree Its just kinda overwhelming. Maybe it would have been better if their stories were seperated. Other than that, it was a good read. Its just kinda seems funny to me they all got to be related in the end.
After rereading this, I realized this ain't worth the five stars. I mean its cute and all but Kairi... he's a bit naive that leads to toxic positivity. Its just doesn't work for me. And I would have believe it if they thought they were fated pair cause what did you mean they both love each other at first sight. The plot is too shallow to be honest. Of course, lets not forget Haruomi marking Kairi without permission. And what's up with Haruhi proposing to a kid. That's a crime. Everyone would have lose their mind if genders were reversed. What the hell was I even thinking rating this that high.
I kinda feel bad about Cliff to be honest. He was definitely influenced by the plot until the end and he can't get a way with it. Why tho? Everyone got their own freewill after their roles were lifted off except his. Its kinda unfair that everybody had a chance to turn a new leaf but him. And to think the duke and duchess lose their son for that and it was just glossed over. And now he became a character that beats the shit out of his partner?? It just doesn't make any sense. He wasn't a bad character, he was just written as an obssessive male lead and it was because of the plot yet the previous 'Edith' gave him a punishment for that??
I think the manhwa did an awful job at portraying Cliff’s twisted matured and at the same time punishing him more than the novel ( ̄∇ ̄") in the go story, Cliff broke free from the authors control quite easily, because he wasn’t genuinely obsessed with these-author; meaning, he delivered helped jarras and attempt to murder Edith. He willingly did that, no control needed (up until the epilogue/side stories where the author snot rhyme author, but real author lol- backtracked and then suddenly he “still was a bit influenced — the thing is, the ending of the novel was cliff succeeding as a duke and marrying author-rhyme. They literally had a happily ever after despite their wrongdoings. But maybe that ending got backlash, idk, and in the side stories the author Redid that lol)
So the punishment we see here is the one i would have liked led to have es in the novel. But here, they really softened Cliff’s evil character and yeah, I can see how this new ending can seem a bit much ( ̄へ ̄) this adaptation is strange because they softened things sometimes and then made others more hardcore for someone reason. Still like it though.
I remember reading this excited to have found another BL Isekai but dropping it after a few chapters. Looking back at this, my feelings remained unchanged As much as I love the genre, the story and characters feels very shallow to get attached to. I feel bad about Nathaniel and the author seems to just skimmed his feelings. Chris is a plywood. His majesty is just another good for nothing man with no redeeming qualities. It has potential but it was sex driven plot.
Here is my short list of BL Isekai

I really hate poly relationship. For me, its just doesn't make sense to fall inlove with two or more different people but this story made me go past that. I mean I didn't think I would be able to read this without a heavy heart. In fact, it made me feel better that they all ended up together. Its just doesn't make sense that Kei would name Yuusuke's feeling as "teasing". That was more like him venting out to Mao and used him conveniently but other than that, the story was pretty decent.
