like imo why is every bl that has a twink as the ml or mc small like a child.I just need reccs where the mc isnt a small child twink (when theyre suppose to be like 18+) and theyre not a damsel in distress. I see this enough in shoujo

it sucks because size and physique differences are hot, but the childishness (plausibly deniable pedo-baiting) that ends up happening for a lot of bottoms is soooo not it. :/
my hypothesis is that it's an unfortunate consequence or byproduct of artists exaggerating the "key points" and "cuteness" of twinks when the appeal of them is primarily "youthful androgyny", "boyishness" or being a "pretty boy" (emphasis on boy). so it comes with the territory, kind of.
it's also heavily dependent on the art style and how the artist creates contrast between the twink and other characters/their love interests. not sure what you look for in a twink otherwise, but I like it when it's evident that a character is an adult/mature and not too cutesy.
...now I'm second-guessing myself on what characters count as twinks in the first place, so sorry if these don't fit what you're looking for.

bro imo isnt it weird how shes still acting like a child even though she remembers her previous life? or is it bc she recalls it (and not lived it directly) she still acts like one?
I believe it's like the situation where she simply cannot just start acting maturely because she 'remembers' because of her characteristic as a primera (her soul is old but her body isn't; she's supposed to be 7/8 years old but her body is way younger). it's probably gonna get resolved if she grows old by using up her life force

It’s not like she remembers the past life as though she lived through it. She just knows a general gist of what happened in the past timeline. Idk if that makes sense. So in essence she really is just a 7 year old kid.
