The latest chps are giving off a rather ominous vibe, I mean that feeling has always been present but now a certain unease and weariness feels like it’s building to something that’s just around the corner. We know pandora has been preparing a just in case plan to face the unfathomables, a way to defend themselves even though the unfathomables show that they’d never hurt them. But it’s human nature like Lowell said, the feeling of being looked down on and feeling insignificant to an all powerful being is humiliating. Though it’s not wrong to think like that it’s also not wrong to be prepared, we (humans) don’t like feeling powerless. We don’t like the unknown and unfortunately it’s basic human nature to covet something that isn’t ours but in a place like paradise what good will that do? They have anything and everything they could ever want so why? Is this also humans folly?

Also just a tidbit, I like to interpret what Lowell said about heavens grace being nature as something akin to a humans instinct/sixth sense but in this instant (paradise) it has taken a form suited for that individual.

Last thing and correct me if I’m wrong but originally pandora wanted Sanho bc of his sharp intuition and hoping he could find a weakness, but Sanho himself has noticed that his intuition has been dwindling every time he used heavens grace. Does that mean Sanhos intuition will one day disappear or no longer work the more he uses heavens grace and will that lead pandora in losing interest in him?

To say it’s a satisfying ending would be a lie so I’ll just state that it was an ok ending. Seemed rushed to make them established and gloss over just about everything that happened. Kinda insulting to say they’re both inexperienced when Dan was the actual one that was inexperienced in a lot of things and has been abused multiple times. But I guess since they love each other it’s ok… Yes I know JK had a horrible/rough childhood but so did Dan (even if it wasn’t as bad) so they have equal footing there but still not an excuse. If I’m being honest ending it w/ the whole “with the power of love we can overcome anything” doesn’t really match the story, but if there’s side stories w/ their relationship developing and being healthy I guess it’s a win?

I may be ragging on it but there are quite a few things I enjoyed, granny arc as a bit long but it helped JK realize that Dan only has his grandma, no other relatives, no close friend, no one. It is only him and his grandma, the fact that he’d really be alone w/o her I think resonated w/ JK a lot knowing his past. It was very touching to see that she confined in him to care and look after Dan after she was gone and he did in fact take it to heart. Also liked his previous couch still advising him and helping him to actually notice what’s around him, to actually look for what’s really valuable. Though it was a bit short for my liking I loved the self reflection and realization that JK went through, taking accountability for his actions and apologizing for everything that he did to Dan was needed (kinda wanted to see him cry more cause I like how he looks when he cries (▰˘◡˘▰))

And that’s about it, another one of the manhwa I’m reading is completed! (●'◡'●)ノ

Question what’s a reasonable response when a shoulder appears? Is it a. Run b. Fight or c. Bicker and let Dante get kidnapped once again? If you chose any of the options you’re right cause this is what usually happens when encountering a shoulder lololol They’re “team work” really needs some help, it’s funny watching them (▰˘◡˘▰)

Ngl I read this in 2 days, so far I’m really enjoying it. I’m glad I read the comments beforehand cause if I went in blind not knowing that the first crown prince and her mother died I would’ve cried so much, I mean I still cried but you know. It’s very refreshing to see a historical manwha be progressive towards women, I mean it isn’t much but it isn’t as brutal as I was expecting to see. Also usually with most historical work they portray the royal families as heartless cold people that don’t care about what happens to their children (biological or not) or their concubines/wives. And usually they don’t treat girls/women with much thought so it’s nice to see that this work shows that the king and her brothers actually care fondly for Sia, also the queen also really loves her too which is rare! Lastly I’m glad she isn’t a push over and is making change to benefit women of that era (●'◡'●)ノ

Looking forward to seeing more chapters! (▰˘◡˘▰)
