Dropped this piece of shit. This is the worst '2nd chance' genre manga i've read till this day.
Here are my thoughts on it:
a. Why to help someone you hate? Its not like he has have to kill them (his teammates never done much harm to him) but dont go out there helping them.
b. Why tf he has so much hatred towards hero? Hero is a good guy, never done any harm to him. Just because he was weak to him and saintess (his childhood friend) and hero were lover doesn't mean he cant even stand to hear his name.
I mean c'mon, wtf author was thinking putting out such mc.
Im on ch 149 in novel but im finding him way annoying than before. Though he changed, but he has become more arrogant and selfish. He has joined the guild(Tzedahak guild) but doesnt want to work with others and the reason is his selfishness(he wants all the raid drops). He knows the guild needs him so his acting just the way he wants.

Whole Tzedahak guild will have tough time with Malacus(six servent of the yatan) , but at the end Grid will take the last hit on him. Before helping the guild he selfishly argued to get loot in 5:5 ratio. After this, they seperated the drops and went their way. But grid went inside to search the cave and found Irene(princess of Winston),who was kidnapped by yatan people for sacrifice, and helped her. Her affection to him reahes max and he gets option to marry her. After Jishuka(leader of Tzedahak guild) invites him to join the guild and he accepts it. This was after the current manhwa chapter so now im gonna keep it short. He builds Unique spear for Pon(spear user), legendary blade of a young boy( same guild but dont remember his name), then went to a cave to get minerals and there meets the ghost of the legendary magician who gives him the task of building a container to make him come alive. There he gets a artficial mineral, made by legendary magician and Pegma. That minerals needs to the blessed by all the the gods. He goes on the journey to get the blessings. He have to fight the pope of the 1st temple( forget the name of the temple goddess), fight gonna be furious between them, but he defeats him in the end. Then went for the second god temple and gets the blessings. After that he returns back cause want to get rid of his verginity in the virtual world, ploughing a virtual girl. After reaching Winston he gets married to Irene and have his first night with her. After this he goes to to hunt he Guardian of the forest to get orichilum for Failure, but he had a tough time with it, Gaurdian was in his advanced form so Grid was kinda of fucked up position but he came out as a winner in the end after the tough battle. Well this covers the content of the chapter i've read but i dropped reading the novel cause his character has became much worse. Befor he was timid and pushover but now he acts like the brat of some rich dad

I’m at chapter 650 in the novel and I swear his personality does develop, a lot of incidents occur making it impossible for him to stay the same. The Tzedahak guild ends up becoming close to Grid allowing him to trust them as friends. The Satisfy National Competition gets created (similar to the Olympics) and he gets roped in by Yura. Grid becomes well known for singlehandedly winning Korea 1st place in the first tournament and winning 5 gold medals in the 2nd one. He becomes a national hero at that point. Another major point was when Braham sent an army of golems to attack the region neighboring country of Irene's territory because Grid wasn’t making him a vessel. Grid wasn’t able to complete it because of his bad relationship with the church of Yatan making it impossible to get their blessing. After the golem invasion, he gains the title of duke (wish is higher than the title he gets when he marries Irene) and gains control of a large but poor territory. When he first gained his title, he only swore allegiance to the king so once the king dies he was able to take control of the rest of the kingdom, officially becoming the first king in satisfy. A lot of other incidents occur like getting a son, which make his personality more responsible. Even so, occasionally his pervious personality would come up, like cursing when he makes a bad item and his excessive greed. He also becomes close with Kraugal, gets Piaro who becomes the legendary farmer, gains a temporary second class of Great Magician, and ends up making Myth and growth class items.
You forget to add he makes them incredible weapons etc..?

As a mage, he should not be able to use the sword. There's a thing called class restriction.

His class is mage. Only magic swordman can use sword. These classes are different.
A Buster sword is a greatsword but okay. Most anyone can use a longsword.

Did you not read the plot? He has to be a "slave" to be accepted into the village at first as humans are considered to be mortal enemies. He was only being led on a chain in public.

There are few thing i not liking how the story is going on. If he dont have any magic power then how he's using magic, let him stick with his ghost/spirit. Sending mc to the magic school is really not a good decision. I mean, he's magic is kinda OP so author just wants him to show off his power to lil kids and make harem in the school. Rationally, 2nd son should have get the chance to join the school.
These chinese manhua never live up to expectations.
