And Charlotte wasn't on this party and didn't have a clue that Ariel made this perfume especially for her. She just liked it very much and used it all the time and lilac became trendy.
And in the novel Ariel created a new scent for this party - pine scent, so not only women, but men too wanted it.
So maybe the novel would be a better read?

One of the reasons i read it was artstyle. I liked Daisy visually. It was cute, sophisticated and somehow unique.
But starting from season 2 it is just "ewww". New artstyle really reminds of chinese comics full of brainless people. Sorry, artists, who draw it, but U lost it.

I actually pity him as he really don't know any other way to live, love ets. His mother just left him and went to live happily with her tribe, his "noble" stepparents used him all the time, he loves Violet but doesn't know how to show it as he grew up without love and with the only controllable thing - money.
They just really needed to talk and find out that mountain of unknown things about each other.
He's so stubborn and rude to his wife all the time but to his parents he is a "filial" son?

If you didn't read the novel, try it. There are moments (his thoughts mostly) that are not in the comic, and its frustrating, actually.
