The art is literally stunning and unique. It lends itself perfectly well to the cutesy nature of the story but is also able to capture the gloominess of the much darker scenes. Definitely has a serious case of yaoi proportions and yaoi hands, but that's a taste matter. I like it :)
Spoilers ahead.
Character voice's are clear and motives generally make sense. These characters aren't complex but it isn't a complex story and it really isn't supposed to be. Ya get what ya get. Ryo is air-headed but in a VERY cute way and he isn't annoying. Yusei is a tsundere; he's not too possessive as much as he just wants to keep Ryo safe (reasonably). Yusei came off so rude in the first couple of chapters and made him so unlikable. He did improve and I know you can call that relationship/character development but, he was just so rude that I ended up feeling like Ryo whenever he got an attitude. His little outbursts were not cute. I know you can call this tsunderism... but this flavour of tsundere is not for me. Though it does get better.
Story lacks any depth which is fine since this is supposed to be a feel-good story, but it still seems way too shallow for even when you want to turn your brain off. Ryo has a girlfriend who he supposedly loves and plans on marrying, yet he catches feelings for his former classmate who he used to have no romantic feelings for in 2 days? Yusei has been in love with Ryo since middle school but they're way into adulthood at this point(i know this is a common trope but I still hate it). It just feels like these problems could've been solved with TIME. Let Ryo get over his girlfriend and spend TIME with Yusei so he can love him. Let Yusei spend TIME with Ryo so he could rekindle the old feelings he had. But everything is just shallow and goes so fast that the relationship development is pushed to the sides for more explosive, emotional scenes.
The oddest example would be in chapter 4 when they were in a massive argument where Ryo was begging Yusei to not leave but then Yusei tells him to pack his stuff. Then, Ryo cries behind a door and... Yusei tells him he'll be with him forever?? What's with this random whiplash, nothing even happened. At least give more than 2 pages between him shutting the door and him yanking it up to scoop Ryo in his arms. Then, right after that, he gets SHANKED. I understand only being given 5 chapters to work with, but the current arrangement of the story does not lend itself well in that format and does not make the the relationship feel natural.
I feel like the plot twist is actually perfect for what other people might say. I didn't see it coming, but it also makes perfect sense.
Ryo's channel comes out of left field but sure, okay. Makes sense for his character.
I do appreciate the usage of the contra-cutiez over all the chapters. This might be random, but I have an inkling that some media uses cute characters just so they can make merch out of it instead of it having a proper place in the story. This tidbit probably doesn't apply to you, don't heed it mind!
ALSO WHY DIDN'T THEY GO TO 'MERICA!! THAT WOULD'VE BEEN A PERFECT EXTRA OR PAGE AT THE END!!!
All in all, this story would've MASSIVELY improved with 2 or even 1 more chapter so that the relationship would've developed properly. However, this story does hit the emotional points well so it'll still make you "feel good".
I loved scanlating this series as much as I got stressed over scanlating this series LOL. It's wierd to think about how this story has been with me over this period of life (we literally started talking about picking up this story in MARCH and worked on it in August). Hopefully, I pick up other feel-good stories like this too, it was fun to work on.
Overall, I think it's a story you should read but it's eh. 6/10, heavily boosted by the art.
Such a great story. It’s like… perfect? The pacing, the plot, the truth of the world, the characters, character development, internal conflict. I haven’t read a story that just,,, was perfect idek what else to say. I was reading this while it was still ongoing and marinated on it for a bit too long, finished it 5 months after it was completed.
Surprised this isn’t more popular.
Dayummm I thought this would be a stereotypical playboy x virgin where it gets rlly non con n cliche, but I actually think the author was able to touch on deeper topics quite well. Definitely gonna remember this for a while 10/10.
IKR??? Btw, this is not the end!! The following volumes exist & have fan translations!!

I remember reading this when it was still ongoing… how time flies ╥﹏╥
Anyways I forget why people didn’t like this, love both Minji and Yuna. I think the author’s explanation for Hyera’s actions weren’t well explained but the gist was fine. Love the art style. I wish we saw Jihoon later on as a throwback. Waiting for more from this author.
