There are 2 main things I don't like about this manhwa. I read until chapter 22.
Number one was when Dennis got this character development and he was able to see that he was being obsessive and only started to hang out with MC after MC told him he could and they were friends. However, after that I don't understand why they made him almost rape MC? Like, we were finally almost going to like this character but then there was this random unneccarsary drama which I didn't really like cause I was starting to like him. Maybe a bit biased lol.
Number 2. Black haired forced himself to kiss MC 2 times and didn't even say sorry after. Maybe he did in the later chapters but he should apoligize right after. And he started tp say manipulative stuff like "I'm the only one you need" "No one will be able to understand you so just stick to me". After he said this I honestly thought that Dennis would get with the MC as the second lead, but then he almost raped him so yeah. Alsl the author knows that sexual assault is bad because we can see how MC was crying after he almost unbuttoned his uniform and kissed him but when black haired dude does it MC is blushing.
Just my personal opinion, I saw high potential but maybe I'm too picky.
It was pretty cute! Althoigh I've never watched the anime before, it was still a pretty good read.
The ending was a bit too... cliche? Idk. I dont think being in love with someone for more then 5 years is realistic but like 2 peeople? liking eachother for 5 years with no contact for probably like a year or 2.

Third of all, I get being confused on your sexuality but you strung along a girl till MARRIAGE? LIKE YOU MARRIED A PERSON YOU DIDNT LOVE AND DUPED HER. I feel more pity for the girl than him. She still loved him which proves that she was serious. Does she want the coustudy as well?
The backstory of the guy was kinda nice though and art as well? It was great if you didnt look at the details.
I don't agree with you,, like I don't think he "strung along a girl till marriage" ?? he got cheated on with the woman he loved and then got divorced. she CHEATED on him so theres no way I can pity that lol. he was confused with his sexuality, which is valid -- he never acted on his feelings bcs he thought the guy he maybe had feelings for was "dating" someone so like? he couldn't confirm if the love he felt for his best friend was platonic or more than that.
also this isn't the ending there's one more chapter and then an 'extra' chapter. but yeah I agree with the whole cliche part but tbh having someone you loved from childhood up until university isn't easy to forget so..

You'll never know that kind of love unless it happened to you. And it does happen. That's a deep rooted love that sprout ever since their childhood days. So its not unrealistic. Just like when someone dear to you died (just an example) 5 years will never be enough to unlove them and chose someone knew. Especially when you loved them all your life, 1,2,3 or even 5 years of no contact is not something that can make them forget the love and the person. Maybe for a shallow love, yes. But with their kind of story, it is realistic.
Time and distance can never define the amount of one's love. Coz if it does, its a shallow love to begin with.
How do you know he didn’t love his wife? It’s possible to love two people at the same time. I could agree with that "loving both at the same time". Tho its not really at the same time coz the love he feels for the uke is a distant love. And you cant really know if you still love someone after all those years. Only after you meet them again and realize that you have never come to unlove them will you realize that you've always love them while loving another. So yeah. I could agree
Didn't he say he was gay? And if the wife hadn't cheated, I feel that she wouldn't liked that he had lingering feelings for another person. That's something most people don't want in thier SO. HOWEVER, I'm not sure if what he had felt was distant longing, or actual love for him. In my first reply I said that maybe he didnt know it was love. I don't know what you mean on the uke fucking other people because I forgot the contents of this story. I don't think he said he liked women at all sexually nor romantically though.
It never said the seme was gay. Just that he had feelings for the uke for a time and by the time he realised what he was feeling, the uke was already with other people so he gave up on those feelings and later would meet his wife. He could be bisexual, or any other sexuality where it’s possible for him to have loved his wife too which it seemed he did because even the uke picked up on how he seemed to have cared about the wife and was heartbroken about her cheating.
