Honestly I was getting kinda bored w it since it felt like the characters weren't really being used to their potential.. and then bam. It IS peak. One thing i will say is that I wish shushu would show more improvement in terms of strength. If it's just because she's not one of the main characters that she's at (imo) a plateau then imma riot. Please let our girl shine even brighter <///3

I picked this up bc I was going through my want to read list only to remember that I actually dropped this after a few chapters because things were unfolding "too conveniently" .. soo I pushed through for two days straight and I can confirm that this story is fire. There were certain moments near the first half that I had to turn my brain off to enjoy but the progression of the story currently is so wonderful!!! Cant wait for the updatessssssssssss
The story is pretty decent but I get pissed off whenever Ak pops up... ho stick to your script.... AND I HATE HOW THE AUTHOR PUSHES MY SNAKE BACK SM!!! You're intentionally making him be a clear parallel to the supposed ML dpmo. Dropping <3

Honestly, after finding out that this series actually had a season2 I hesitated in reading it because this story was heavy on my heart (in the most comfortable way possible, like a weighted blanket??). Eventually (today) , I did end up reading it , but from the very beginning. Season 1 is just as unforgettable and beautiful as I last remembered. The artist deserves every penny they got from this istg. The change in art in season 2 was a bit surprising but since it still held resemblance to how it was initially there were no issues. And I swear I could hear my heartbeat so profoundly while going through the last chapters, lol. It was so melancholic and realistic, I guess? I felt for Hyeonwoo and almost shed a complete tear for him, but remembering how he acted infront of the 23 year old Subin? While knowing how he felt? Ha, his karma got back to him.
Sorry for rambling, I'm just really happy about finally finishing :)))) Even after all these years of thinking it had finished .. it remains as one of my favorite reads. Not sure if all the anxiety, sighing, and face palming was worth it though, lololol (it fs was).

I was worried I wouldn't like it as much as I did when I last read it in 2023, but it's still fire. Idek how many times the art style changed but what I can say is that the second one was the absolute worst lmao. Still, they didn't overshadow the story so anyone can power through.
The story did kinda feel stagnant somewhere in the middle so I took multiple breaks between days.. but this season is gassssssss. Please read if you're hesitating at all :-) be the judge of whether this is good enough or not!
