it is. i think the problem with stories like that is that they failed to give acceptable explanation, it's a bit difficult to accept that people's mentality will regress so much if their memory is intact. it's not impossible but the explanation is often just glossed over

Something that wasn't made as clear in the webcomic: it was never really an issue of Roth not communicating. It wasn't that Anna tried to tell him and he didn't listen. It's that she never told him at all. In the novel, she as Ianna told him vaguely of needing to go back to someone but didn't tell him it was a sick mother. She let him believe it was an ex-lover she was still pining after, so when she left him and Svanhild to go home, it looked like she'd conspired with his father to trick him into falling for her, then ran off to be with another man after dumping a kid on him that he hadn't even wanted (he'd only agreed to the risks of having a child because she had pressed it with him as something SHE wanted out of LOVE for him). So her returning and with another man made it look like it was exactly what he'd thought it was.
In the end when she got her memories back, she chose not to tell him the truth of why she went home because she was so overcome with guilt about leaving him and their child that she decided this punishment was what she deserved to atone. She viewed his anger as preferable to making him greave and feel guilt, especially because she'd wanted to suffer the rest of her life knowing what she'd done, but completely forgotten about it instead.
I suspect the reason she never said anything before leaving is the same reason she won't say anything now: in the last chapter (webtoon) she hints that it's "not so bad" since his revenge makes him stay obsessed with *only* her... and given how she didn't want hin to find another woman when she left, I bet that was part of her reason back then, too.

Doubt it. This artist is known for changing stuff so that makes it 90% but as far as I know the novel didn’t end in a good ending we can just assume the time traveling helped them to get their happy ending somehow
