I recently reread this, front to back, and have realized that the story's pacing isn't that slow. It's actually quite fast. From the moment she regresses to the moment she gets her first power up is like 40 chapter. I remember readers begging to get hot daddy back after the little time skip because it felt forever since they had seen each other, but it is legit like 15 chapters that they are separated.
I think the culprint here is the slow update time. If it had a schedule like I'll be the matriarch in this life, it would probably not feel as slow.
So, like all of y'all I've been victimized by the great purge. So now, I'm looking for a manhwa I think is not in my lists.
Very basic romantasy story. I don't remember if it is Isekai, but the MC knows how the "story" goes. She is a servant of sorts in a facility where the ML is kept. The ML has powers, and the people on the facility experiment on him.
She plans to run away, but after seeing him, she decides to stay and help him out a little. He falls for her, and after they bust out, he takes her with him.
Because he has powers, the king wants to stay on his good side, and offers to keep the MC as well. She becomes a sort of alchemist and helps the ML handle his outbursts. However, she knows only the ogFL will actually cure him.
Years pass, he returns from the battlefield with the ogFL, who fell for him, but he only has eyes for his baby girl (AS HE SHOULD) but she is CONVINCED she cannot offer him the relief the saint can.
So she uses 100% of her brain and runs away. She is caught almost IMMEDIATELY, and he decides to stay with her in the little town, to woo her I suppose.
That's where I left it to marinate, and now I lost it .

Don't bother with this anymore y'all. I ALSO used 100% of my brain, and searched for "male lead" in the title because I felt like it was right. The gods smiled upon me, and I found it.
