And these two matching each other's freak is so amusing. It's the kind of thing where even if you would be horrified in real life, that it's fictional and has ridiculous in-universe logic makes it really entertaining.

I cannot follow along with what's a flashback, what's current, what either of them's actual motivation is for the things they do. What am I missing here????

Hee-Seong is such a tragic character, I can't help but scorn the system that abused her to bring her to that point. It's a sad tale that she ended up perpetuating that awful system in other ways, but that's what makes her such a tragic villain.

I don't think any bl character has made me legit swoon as much as I have for Hangun. Gosh.

Gosh, I adore this so much, I really need more like it. An Abyss comes close, but I could really use more with more complex political structures at play as part of the main story and not just background flavour.

Won doesn't owe him an explanation at all, but how satisfying would it be to put that chump in his place.
