The art in not good, but not the worse either...
I liked the story, the suspense was thrilling, I forgot abot the art in some point...
You are the autor? Well good job, the story was good, i know that with time you are gonna improve your art style, but for me it was good! Congrats!
Thank youu! :D It's just a hobby for me, but it's an important hobby where I genuinely want to put an effort in. :) I knew that my first work isn't going to be that mind-blowing, considering how inexperienced I am, and that's why I chose a short story :D Hopefully I'll do much better in future and do a long series :D
So, Shon doesn't want to have a nice and real relationship with Lyra because his parents fight everyday and forgot that they have children...
It's a silly reason, how many children have the same experience and they can overcome from those fears?
Shon is so childish, so inmature, he almost lost her when she fell into the ocean, he can lost her for real if he doesn't change his behavior.
Hello, Valentina.
English is not my first language so I can´t express myself accuately, sorry if I sounded agressive, that wasn't my intention.
I think a person is childish when they doesn't get over of their child's fears, when they aren't able to see themselves apart of their parents. In that sense Shon is childish.
Yes, I agree with you that a person has their own reason for acting in some ways and we can't judge them because we can't see the whole scene, but we aren't talking about a person here, Shon is a character.
In the last chapter he explains himself better, and even if he didn't earn my approval, yet, I can see he is a more complicated character than I thought.
Don't worry, I wasn't judging our english at all, I'm not an english native either :)
But I still don't think he's childish, I can't see even a bit of it... I would die to meet someone as mature as Shon in real life. And I am sorry if I compare characters to real people in life, it's just that I can actually see similarities between manga and real life. And I don't think I am the only one. Well, of course it depends on the mangas but I am really used to it :)
Sorry for sounding mean, this is just my opinion.
You know, I am 40 years old, almost every persons who are in their twenties is childish to me (≧∀≦)
I love some characters and, for me, are like real people, I love them, hate them and get angry with them sometimes ლ(´ڡ`ლ) That is because the mangankas are great artists, they make us forget that we are reading manga and convince us that they are real people (=・ω・=)
I agree that the way Shon faces his fears are a bit childish, but I also see why he has fears on moving forward beyond just the fear of confessing.
The deal about his parents are he always felt pressured at home to be 'mature' because he was the eldest son, even more so after his baby brother was born. Also I'm sure seeing his parents fight then split up gave him doubts on romance in general. Lastly Lyra admits she was always envious of Shon's family, mainly because he had parents & he tells her that she can have a family too when she marries someone ( the in-laws become her parents). So with his 'broken' family he feels he no longer can make Lyra happy and isn't what she deserves.
Finally he is asking the rights questions!!!!ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
