I read the novel and so far they've been okay again, why did I say that? here's why;
after Varkas and thalia get married, Varkas father died after the delegation and held a memorial as soon as he was passed. His siblings was mad at him, especially to thalia. Senevier came to the east to give her 'condolences' aka to check on thalia, Senevier talked to varkas and he's still on the crown prince side. So she devised a plan to use thalia to get pregnant so the heir she's carrying is going to be friends/confidant of his younger brother, she reluctant agreed but in her terms. She wanted to get pregnant to have her own family (defying seneviers plan). Ff, she got pregnant and they're becoming close through the baby but tragedy strikes and she lose the baby (its a boy) because of that both of them stayed away each other due to thalia pushing varkas away. Varkas agreed to her wishes and go to the war between the north and imperial family, Varkas stayed in the borders for 1-2 years away from east but still keeping tabs on thalias condition. Thalia saw varkas leaving and heartbroken that he actually left her (they had an agreement during her pregnancy that if ever she tried to push him away, he shouldn't listen to her and stay)for once she prayed that he'll come back and suddenly she heard a cry of a pup. at first she ignored it but it became a cry of a baby, thalia hunted by her miscarriage, she sprinted and look for it. she found the guards carrying a pack of dire wolf cubs, she asked what's happening. the guards said that they were trying to get some mana stones but cubs are useless so they're disposing them in a pit they made, thalia was about to walk away when she saw a silver wolf and that has varkas' eyes. she took the cub and raised as her own, which later on made a huge uproar and problem. War is finally over and varkas came home to a lot of problem including Thalia's wolf— named Khan.

Just finished the novel and it was so rushed, many plot holes to the point it's so disappointing. This type of manhwa that has so many potential but chose to end it abruptly, which make lose interest.

My theory is that she heard someome from the other world important to her is maybe sick? Or hurt ( the one she left him and her child for) and she wants ro go back and he puts lowkey a spell on her so she cant use her legs, just my theory, l didnt read the novel
She planned to leave him after knowing the real way to return to her world with her ex bf so he broke her ankle so she cant escape. When she learned the truth about their past, she just accepted her fate. I hate how she's so bad in communicating. All of this can be solved if she just open her mouth.
Another spoiler, there's a girl demon who needs a swan to get her pregnant. She's helping the ML in his ritual before to get the FL back because she needed one to solidify her status. It's rare for a demon to fall in love with their swan, they are basically a tool for breeding but ML did.

Yes, with his demon power so she cant walk without him. He does not even wanted to die first because he thought FL will find another man after his death lol

She can walk only when roth is around and anna describe that walking felt like her feet was stepping in a shards of glasses so she give up the thought of walking. He didn't broke her ankles but he cast a spell on it instead. Anna doesn't have any reason to go back to begin with but she still goes to the lake and found out joseph is gone— even tho rose gave her the truth on how will she go back again, joseph got taken away by the countess who's also a demon (joseph is a male swan) anna decided to go back at the mansion, confronted roth and roth gave her the diary which anna read and her memories came back. After that, rose disappeared, roth planned to remarry anna again, svanhild became happy and anna overcame with guilt she started to care for svanhild bc she left the kid. Roth doesn't care who was the reason she go back and she doesn't want to hear it
If I got to see them one more time, I would do it in a heartbeat. Thank you for spoon for always delivering the art and considering a lot of opinions and the plot, this manhwa will hold a special place in my heart. I really really adore the artstyle and I hope to see another spoon's project
