basically my take on bl manhwas: they often wanted to go into a very dramatic plot but is really having a hard time executing it and a lot of times it ended up being 'corny'. (though sometimes I want to believe its just mistranslation)
for the art too; i really hate the use half baked 3D objects being casually slapped into panels. the character design could also be put into other manhwas and you wouldn't even think its from a different artist, they just look all the same.
but of course not all manhwas are like that, its just most of them are like that. there are still handful of bl manhwas with jaw dropping art and like Ennead or flawlessly executed plot like Killing Stalking & Painter of the Night and a handful more probably.
