My first anime was Mummitrollet, also known as Moomin or Tanoshii Muumin Ikka. I watched it when I was really young (like 4-6). I didn't even know what anime was xD The books that the series are based on is from Finland but the series was made in Japan.

I was around 10 when I found yaoi. I was just browsing yt when I found an amv of Junjou Romantica with the song I kissed a boy. I watched the series over and over again for like a year.
