I think he didn't "forget her" but "forgot their love(?)" cause as what I remember in the og story hero came back to the village to introduce his crew and she's (our FL) was just out of the romance aspects. Idk

Its not that he forgot, its that he didnt see her for years and missed her. But the Heroine started to call him what Fl called him, aka taking over that part of his hart by reminding him of Fl until he forgot it was more than just a friendship.

Did the magician had something to do with it since I assume they were friends... or she enchanted him? 'Cause he does not look like the type of guy to fulfill a promise with someone he cares about. I wanna know.

So like when luca said "i like it when u call me luca" and then the og scene suddenly flashed and we saw luca and the heroine, luca said he likes it when he's being called "luca" but when he was asked why he said there were a lot of peeps who called him that back then doesn't that technically mean he actually forgot laura? Idk or am i just hallucinating since I've been cramming for school :///

He said he liked it because his family and childhood friend suse to call him Luca and he hasnt been called it for years now (he left home and travels for years).
Being called his nickname prob caused his old emotions with Fl to reflect onto the heroin hence he started to like her.

I once read from a spoiler (who read the novel) that Luca has been having dreams about the heroine since his childhood.
Perhaps this mixed with "May I call you Luca?" made him fall for her.

Yes she did and i dislike her for that too but I've come to like her after a few chaps she's like that one maid from death is the only ending for a villainess
