I know that soleite was gonna be accepted as the leader but I'm so glad that it was a gradual process. It makes it even sweeter when he finally told Brian that he got it. Also, we're finally gonna see the start of Lorkan's obsession. I wonder if he interfered in their covenant ( ° ʖ °)
Lastly, can you imagine their mom just watching all the drama in the present time, eating popcorn or whatever, cause i totally can
Idk fam. The difference between grooming and just caring for a child is intent. This guy clearly has no intent of grooming our dragon for sexual purposes and felt pretty flustered and bewildered when Hyoun started showing signs of human puberty and tried distancing himself when he noticed how Hyoun was acting. I would say that it is toeing the line of taboo, but i wouldn't call it grooming, specifically.
Either way, I'm wondering where this backstory is going cos I am somehow smelling that we're close to the climax of the flashbacks.
Anyway, The world isn't black and white and morality is filled with varying shades of grey. At the end of the day, this is fiction and you can control what kind of content you want to consume, yeah? What you read isn't necessarily a 1:1 reflection of your own moral compass.
Tbh besides the fact that MC never intended, never even thought about grooming him and was majorly weirded out by Hyo-un confessing, there is also the matter of Hyo-un's age.
Like, he appeared as a child, but that was simply because he copied the appearance of one. Before that, he was walking around in his black blob state for god knows how long, and we don't know how much time passed between him taking on a kid's appearance, and settling down in the village. Add to that the time he spent in the village as a beggar (at least a year or two), and then the 10 years with MC. He is plenty old to make his own decisions. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if he was older than MC
BRUV, THAT AINT IT LMAO he really went ahead and shot his own foot with that confession
