Started off good, but got boring pretty quickly. The plot felt repetitive after a while, and there weren't enough struggles for fl to keep it interesting. The brainwashing aspect had a lot of potential to get darker, but the author kinda just moved on from it.
I also wish there was more focus on the ml's relationship with his own kind... the characters just got more and more shallow.
