Tbh, I'd like to know too.

hello!! when you make an album you are able to add photos from your own computer. to make an album though, i think you have to add a photo from an existing manga or album... but after you've made the album, you're able to delete the original photo!
to add from your own computer, go to your profile and click on album. click the album you want, then at the top there's a button you can click that says add photo, and then you'll be able to upload from your computer!

That's what I did and it works!
