Yeaaahhh, I was spoiled by a post maybe a year ago and see why a certain theme keeps popping up. There is a major reason why they are so drawn to each other. Just keep reading, it doesn't forgive his actions but reveals a deeper storyline. I personally like the ML being an asshole at first as it seems realistic for a change because he is corrupted. He has been influenced by those around him who are sinful: lust, greed, envy, pride, etc. in a position of high society. Then he takes in a lowly female commoner who slowly shifts his perspective. I believe early on he hurt her to prove she is putting on a facade or sinner like those around him but learns she is truly beautiful and pure hearted. Fights his desires until he can no longer let anyone else have her. All I want is answers for his actions and an apology, maybe then we can understand his twisted behavior.

For me, it got a little interesting when I saw the immense drawback and limit to his ability, I wanted to see how he could un-fuck his current situation, so before chapter 3. Though I was also disappointed that the girl wasn’t the Mc, there is some interesting stuff going on and some mystery around the Mc that still hasn’t been addressed. I think I really started thinking that this was a good read around chapter 11-13. This also marks a turning point for him as a character, and he is never the same afterwards.

Ch27 was fayah I am so excited about Dante’s awakening!!!! He reminds me of Dante’s Inferno where mc journeys through the nine circles of hell lol. Dante’s power might be related to his profession tho; not physical but psychological. I NEED MORE CHAPTERSSSS!!!!!!!!
