He’s making this way harder than it needs to be. I understand his concern about Shuraka and his obsession with him could be due to some misguided attachment from when he was a child however he’s not taking into account that he’s quite literally had to survive in a palace that was out to kill him. Shuraka isn’t as naive as he thinks.
But also this could be resolved if he simply asked
You know, we know, but he doesn't know! The last time he saw him Shuraka was a frail child, then they parted for 12 years and that's not a small period, he literally doesn't know the adult Shuraka... He was cast for twelve years without knowing the reason, had to live while people shaming him, then suddenly Shuraka comes back out of nowhere and takes him back without even explaining why he did that, he knows he's a man so means there won't be an heir, then he stopped touching him, doesn't come see him, doesn't share anything with him and THEN sees a sea of beautiful concubines.... Tei is trying to find reason among confusion, I mean he wanted to find something to keep his mind intact and a goal for his life, especially someone who only knew all his life fighting... It's not a momentary pressure, it was built on many pillars... Sorry I talked a lot
Tei knows what kind of environment Shuraka was in and he’s heard bits and pieces from other characters too. My point is he’s stressing too much about what Shuraka thinks when he could just ask him Plus he still sees him as a child, despite all evidence suggesting otherwise. I do understand him wanting to find his feet amongst uncertainty though I don’t begrudge him that. And don’t worry about talking a lot! I’ve been wanting to talk about these characters. I just want Tei to stop suffering in silence that silly man!
The audacity to try and tell a man who’s known Yuhyun since they were kids what he wants is crazy he knows exactly how Yuhyun works that’s why he told him no when he asked Hyundo to give up the stocks(which is still crazy btw but I digress) You’ve known that man for maybe a few years tops why are you acting like you know what he wants like you guys are close personally? This is the problem with a lot of love triangles
That wasn’t fair of him to ask in the first place and Hyeondo was right to tell him no. He’s basically telling him to give up his lively hood just because he’s afraid of the off chance that he’ll threaten him. And while I understand the fear to a certain extent how can he possibly expect Hyeondo to even agree to that? Lol
I don’t think they’re gonna make Victoria the FL. Like Raoul said she’s the architect of everything that he is. He wants to torture her for eternity probably. That’s literally it. Clearly Theodora is going to be the FL. Even now he’s busting his ass trying to figure out a way to kill the older gods and goddesses and he got pissed off because they are hurting her.
