hi guys, i just want to ask a question abt Chase family tree and his relationship with them. Ik Grayson since he is here in the manhwa, and an omega younger brother, and that's it. I want to ask, does grayson and Chase have the same parents? cause i read grayson's story and the translation for that manhwa has this vibe that Angel (? is that the name of the omega dad) is only grayson's mom, and angel and Grayson is close?? (based on the flashback in that manhwa).. just curious abt chase relationship with his family. And also, who is the first child among them, since greyson was the second one.
graysons and chases omega dad is koi. actually parents dont give a shit ab them but grayson resemble to koi so theyre much closer than chase. shortly parents just popped them and ignored.. gave some money and didnt give any sort of love and left them to bully my poor chase. plus the oldest brother is nathaniel

I had a discussion closer to argument about relationship of Koi and Ashley with Chase... Because Chase has suffered inside the family and this person is saying that the couple did their best in raising but like.... they knew Chase is a late bloomer dominant alpha but they failed to protect him from abuse of his siblings as much as Ashley banned Koi from being near his kids due to an incident that nearly killed Koi...
and this person is saying even how much Koi and Ashley did their best, there will be salty ones.. and I was flabbergasted with that comment. Josh even thought of WTF hearing all the hardships Chase faced inside the household and this person is just saying Chase is just salty.

It's just basing on Chase story i really wonder if his parents ever love him at all since chase barely interact or even mentioned them in this manhwa. So when I read Greyson's story and saw how he is still in contact with his father and has that flashback with Koi, i was actually irritated and annoyed, idk why. Well, the narrator and actual protagonist of this manhwa is Joshua so it make sense that I really can't get any info abt Chase's family in here.

But you also have to understand the parents background and the perspective of the children.
To makes one thing clear, the parenting was problematic. 6 children, especially 4 early manifested were too much. They should have stopped after the twins were born. Add the parents problematic childhood, one parent became emotionless in the past and was also jealous of his own children. And Koi's always listened to Ashley ( he probably also feels guilty since he is the reason why Ashley lost his emotions, because he left, and now Ashley is dependent on him). And the children were problematic.
Chase manifested later than his dominant alpha siblings, so he was the child that needed attention and affection the most, while his other dominant alpha siblings probably needed it too, but were unaware of it. In addition their dominant alpha father was jealous of his children when it comes to Koi's attention. And his dominant alpha father and his siblings had problems understanding Chase.
But you still have to consider one thing, Chase still was one out of 6 children. I felt so bad for his domainant alpha siblings when I read how different they, especially Ashley, treated Bliss
Nathaniel, the oldest, wanted to go to a boarding school as a child to not be in the way of his parents. He actually calls his dominant omega father Mr.Niles.
While you have Bliss the youngest who was pampered and spoiled rotten by everyone, loves his family, all his siblings.
Then you have Chase who hates his family. At some point he gave up on his family, there wasn't much his parents could do then. He broke off all contact at some point.
And Grayson isn't even aware if the methods Ashley used to punish him qualifies as abuse. And sadly he is probably the one who cares the most about Chase, in his own way.
If you think Grayson was treated better than Chase, you're wrong. Grayson looks like his grandfather, because of that Ashley is extremly weary of him. Ashley has trauma from his parents, because of his DA father, he hates being a dominant alpha and hates dominant alphas, didn't want children etc. and when he sees Grayson he sees his father, in addition Grayson is a born manifested.
And the nepo stuff as the beginning, Grayson only went to his father because there were no trials to apply as a firefighter at that time.
And Ashley only gave in to help Grayson, because he inherited a trait from Koi, Koi moves his ears when he was exited and Ashley is weak for it. The manhwa adaption didn't show it, which I think was a mistake, because that trait becomes important later.
Koi is at the moment the most concerned about Grayson, because the other children all have found a partner (or partners) at that point (Chase has three children with Josh), who loves them. What they skipped is that Koi called his other children to share the news that Grayson will work as a firefighter. Thanks to Josh they now have phone contact with Chase.

Hmm? I read it, yeah. It's the same author. And you read "Kiss me if you can", where Chase has anger and violence issues, tries to kill several persons (including Josh) and cripples one in the short time of this story, so what's the matter? The characters are like that, it doesn't matter if you like it or not, they belong to the author who can do whatever she wants with them. You can decide if you want to read it or not.
It just becomes problematic when someone starts to write more of less fanfiction and other's believe it's canon. And I read a lot of strange things here in the comment section, and it's also possible that I interpret something wrong. That's why I said it is better to read it yourself.
I came from the anime and when I read the manga I realized that the anime SKIPPED SEVERAL MOMENTS!! AND THOSE MOMENTS ARE CUTE TOO LIKE SO COMFORTING, LIKE WDYM RYOMA HAVE NEW 3 SLIMES THAT HAS MAGIC (i haven't finished the second season of the anime so maybe they put scene in there, but basing how ryoma is still in contact with the ducal family, then it should be in season one, after he obtain the blood slime) ALSO THE MANGA ARTSTYLE IS MUCH BETTER, THEY ALL LOOK HOT DAMN (esp jeff and the current duke, was not expecting them to be that hot and shojo male lead type of beauty) damn it, the anime should've been faithful to the manga
