I'm waiting to see how this will be like after this sex session because I'm trying to give the benefit of doubt that this is his rut talking and they're both so drugged with eo's pheromones that he's just spouting whatever's horny. I hope when this fizzles out the author makes him so horrified at the current situation and his own behavior and the implications of what happened to Wooju and how he lost control, and then comes the real redemption arc. But yea if this sex behavior and mindset is what the author will make as his new mindset after Wooju presented then yikes.

No one questioned whether Jiheon wanted or even was in love with Wooju all along, or about why he's even sleeping with Wooju rn.

The whole point of the plot was that Jiheon loved and desired Wooju despite being a beta, but he's insecure and unstable enough to feel like there's no deep tie between them with how their secondary genders are, and that if Wooju was an omega they could bond and he'll be truly his. Jiheon lived in an environment of constant abandonment that he is always on edge if there is no concrete bond between him and the person he loves, and not just a label since even a mother who birthed him didn't care about him. This is why he wanted to turn Wooju into an omega to begin with despite desiring him all the same and irregardless.

The plot then developed into the direction of how honey trouble was causing side effects and symptoms that affects Wooju's presence of mind and memories, not just erasing but even altering them to go along with his developing paranoia, and that as Jiheon started to realize this is all because of the pills he panicked and wanted him to stop, because Wooju's well-being is more important to him than that insecurity. Jiheon abandoned his want for Wooju to be an omega when he realized his mistake.

Then it was too late and Wooju turned. While I would've preferred if Jiheon's reaction was more aghast and terror at what he'd done and that he'd completely altered Wooju's life forever (since we were heading this way with Jiheon's realizing his mistake), I still get that smelling Wooju's, someone who he loves and is so into, pheromones may have sent him into a frenzy and he wasn't able to control himself and was turned on more than rational about the situation. So yeah, guess I can see why sex would happen, which is fine.

What is /not/ fine is him talking like Wooju's worth or his level of desire for him increased because he's an omega now. That "nothing is as good as doing it with an omega" which, honestly, does sound like before this scene sex with the beta Wooju was subpar. His comments and the way he talked about Wooju's presentation made it seem like Jiheon cares a lot about whether he was a beta or an omega for all the wrong reasons that weren't originally why he wanted Wooju to be an omega— it has always been for emotional and attachment reasons, not sex, not pleasure, not whether he gets wet or is more "welcoming" to him.

So what we are saying is we hope that this talk is just sex talk and not what the author is aiming to head with Jiheon's mentality development in the plot because if it started to revolve around how Wooju is now more horny and affected by Jiheon's pheromones and now wants to have sex and the heats and whatever, rather than
1) the implication of how this has changed his life forever, not in a good way
2) Jiheon feeling absolute horror and guilt and what he'd done
3) how Jiheon's reasoning to have Wooju be an omega was to bind him irrevocably to him which went without Wooju's consent
4) truly, and I mean TRULY address Jiheon's obvious attachment disorder and his mistakes

Then honestly I'd probably do drop the manhwa like you so graciously offered us to do as if it's not an option we're aware of. What we are doing isn't complaining, we are voicing opinions about a certain scene. This is the beauty of posting your work online to the public, people will have opinions when you suddenly do something that they feel is odd. You're also allowed to keep yours (the one that says we are wrong and you are right) without being disrespectful or rude about it. I'm sure you're capable of that oh better-at-reading-comprehension user ^^
