Mangas like 10 count and excetera deserve to be paid for. If I had a choice I honestly would not read 10 count for free online I would buy the manga. But it's so hard to get ahold to it. Like apparently they're the chapter 3 and nobody in the US knows about it. If mangas had their own scanlation team that kept up with the releases and kept USA in the loop, what major profit they would make selling to the USA.
Around the time the finished 10 count hits the US I probably would have forgot about it. and then on top of that there probably still would be free scanlated versions online
I call for a manga licensing reform.
Publishers in general were caught with their pants down and have been slow to respond to the challenges of the digital revolution.
One solution for manga might be a site like this one that provides a subscription service, much like Netflix. Hire those scanlators to get the chapters available asap to subscribers and cash in on a waiting audience.
I'm pretty sure it was recently licensed, though.
I'm talking about licensed manga in general. If publishers kept it Internationlly in lieu of the rate that it's being published in original Country, I'm sure they would make way more profit.
Instead I'm probably going to have 2 kid's, be married with a dog and picket fence about time they get done with this manga. I'm definitely not going to keep tabs and it's the exact same way with all my friends.
I heard in Japan there is one like that... but the numbers of mangas is limited...
Many digital pages ask to pay for manga... the good thing is that is yours to read when you want... the bad is that you can buy a manga you don't like...
It will be nice a manga page that, like Netflix, you can read all the mangas you want for x monthly money, but if you like a manga, you can buy it be in paper or digital like in Sublime...
Also, an issue is that many libraries or sites that sells mangas only sell the most popular mangas (like Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece, etc...) or only a few types of manga (many countries you cannot find yaoi or little shougo because they think the buyers are mostly men)...
Or like in my country that no only we have always the same type of manga or really limited mangas, buy manga and comics here cost twice and even three times more than in USA!!! (Yay for digital comics and mangas)...
I cannot find any of my favorite mangakas mangas in any store, not even in Amazon and not even in Japanese or other language... only in pages like mangago and mangafox...
There are several mangas I have been searching in order to buy them and couldn't find anywhere...
I hope they do something like Netflix for mangas and comics... I will pay to read them and if I love one, to have the option to buy it!!!
That's actually a great idea. People who like to see what they are buying and those with a budget may be willing to pay a subscription fee for access to many manga--that way they know they will at least like some of whats on offer, and publishers would be guaranteed a certain amount of money monthly. I bet they could call their official scantilation team "interns", pay them less, and let people subscribe to "Intern scans" that are not the final form they will ultimately publish as manga. If only publishers were that progressive and innovative in their thinking.
I don't understand all the downvotes in this, but I guess everyone has an opinion. Anyway, I do agree with you. I'm currently studying Japanese and I wouldn't mind ending up working for a yaoi scanlation company that keeps up with the Japanese releases. (it'd actually be ideal for me lol)
I mean, these authors deserve all our money but some international companies that license mangas are fucking half-assed and the readers would most of the time end up looking for the fastest translation. Which wouldn't help the author in any way. It's sad.
The yaoi community needs more love.
Is it something that I should know without having to know Chinese? Or do we need a translation?
How did they even end up in the elevator together in the first place. How did they end up at the same place?
that is still a mystery. Shirotani is there to deliver something work related, as to why Kurose is there is still unknown.
Eh, could this be counted as spoiler?

Do you maybe think ShiroSan is/ was sexually attracted to his father? Everytime he fantasized about something sexual maybe his father's image popped inside of his head, and in the image of the bitch telling him that it was disgusting right after. Which is why Shiro says "I'm sorry dad." When Kurokun is fingering? Just a thought.
I don't think so, it was only after that girl told him it's disgusting and started putting ideas in his head that it's wrong to be so close to his father that he found anything sexual to be wrong.
Plus, lots of girls when they're young say they want to marry their papa when they grow up. It's innocent and sweet, and not at all sexualized. Miss bitch, however, sexualized his intentions causing him to believe their father-son relationship was wrong.
That's what I thought too, it was normal til she made it not normal. Having your first ever mastubatory experience while seeing your parent having sex with someone is weird enough to warp anyone for life...
I really don't know, but I think that he wasn't sexually attracted to him.
He was affectionate, maybe a little bit, but it's understandable because he was young and it seemed it was just the two of them.
The problem started when "that event" occured, he saw them having sex, got aroused and thus, he was obviously confused. Then that /(#Y&"$= girl told him he's discusting for the 2nd time because he masturbated while don't even knowing what it was. A bunch of horrible ingredients for a trauma.
That's why I think it's more like a feeling of guilt and the thought of being dirty (that turned into mysophobia) associated with any of his(?) sexual arousal or activity, 'cause he became sexually aware while getting aroused by watching his father having sex and was immediately judge by we know who.
It's too much for a 10-11 years old baby... and it's still too much for adult Shirotani.
Maybe, just maybe, he was afraid of being also judge by his father since he was "able to tell" Shirotani's thoughts.
I agree with you.
So you don't think after this incident that ShiroSan might have been sexually attracted to his father? I.e. when his father tries to pat him on the head and he knocks his hand away . I know the normal thing would be to think he knocks his hand away because Ueda said that is disgusting. but maybe because he sexually attracted, still disgusting but you know.... all I know is when I was 10 years old, I knew that I could not marry my mom. as much as I love her and as much as he's done things for me.
I'm asking because I obviously Rihito sensei is adding stock value to this a manga. and everybody's guessing situations but I'm trying to think outside the box cuz everything that we think is going to happen is not happening. Lol
I think he didn't want his dad to pat his head because he said he was able to understand his thoughts just by touching it, and you might say "oh, there you go, he was attracted to his father" but I may also say: no, it could be possible that he didn't want him to know through this reading about Shirotani's masturbation incident...
There are a lot of thoughts about these events and somehow we like to think about what is going to happen, but, at the end, we just have to wait and see what does sensei really want to show us :)
Akihito is bae in every realm of existence.
