I’ve been so confused the last few chapters. Especially with that part where Serin and Gitae are at the door- then suddenly we jump into a “what if” reversal chapter- and then we’re back at the main story again but in the shower. (Chapters 44-46)
And while context clues exist, I went digging around and found the REAL chapter 45 on another site. Unfortunately it was raw and untranslated. So that’s a missing piece of the puzzle.
And with chapter 51, the translation there completely threw me off. For a split second, I thought that Serin and Gitae had switched back - and maybe the translators did too.
But anyhow, I am really thankful for the translators - because as far as I am aware, there is no official English translation of this manhwa. And it is one of my favorites (you don’t find straight smut this good around here - definitely feeding the girlies). But I really do hope these errors get corrected soon…
I think it’s fine that Gojou and Marin didn’t get recognition for their cosplay, because that was never why they got into it in the first place. It’s a hobby, it’s for fun—Marin wants to get as close as possible to her favorite characters and that’s it. For Gojou to help her realize her dream and to challenge himself creatively. They realized the fun of cosplay was more so the set up and the fun you have with friends, not necessarily the sharing and taking credit of anything.
And for cosplaying to be an official job for them is also not something on the table, again—it’s just a hobby. Yes, it’s a great opportunity, but in the end, they don’t want to face the pressure it takes to go professional. It’s just not for them—and it can lead them to burn out.
For both of them, the Haniel cosplay was literally the greatest they’ve ever done. This is the peak display of their talents, the summit. But they saw the other side, and they didn’t like it! And that’s okay!
We always knew what Gojou wanted to be, even before delving into costume making. And we always knew that Marin was just trying to have fun and make friends. Their future makes complete sense, and I’m satisfied with the ending!
Bro I used to read ts on my iPad - Covid was certainly a time. Must’ve been desperate to read anything, huh?
I’m eight chapters in and I have to be honest- this feels like somebody’s first attempt at drawing smut. The art is cute, but when it comes to sex scenes, they look stiff and barely change movements. Every scene has this cut away with her clothes just being on the floor and her being completely naked. Like- let’s slow down!
I LOVE the concept. It’s cute, it incorporates romance and smut which is hard to find in straight manhwas. Most of what’s popular is harems with lowkey rape-y protagonists, stuff made by men for men.
And that’s why I REALLY wanted to like this one. But I cannot get over the art during the sex scenes. Sometimes I’ll look at it and see that’s its anatomically incorrect- the scenes are almost BORING to read. It takes me out of the immersion.
Idk, maybe I should be more patient? Give it more time? Can anybody tell me it’s worth the read?
I’m not gonna lie- even though it’s called “4 options” and Minhyuk is obviously an option, I really wish he wasn’t. I wish they had kept the platonic energy between them, like the whole “4 options” thing could’ve been misleading or such.
I wish they hadn’t touched their friendship to possibly ruin it with some romance drama - reading about their friendship, I HONESTLY felt that there was truly nothing romantic between them. Even him doing acts of service for her, I didn’t perceive as romantic and could see as being done totally platonically. Just a misunderstanding and two people who deeply care for each other, but not in THAT way.
I know a lot of people like Minhyuk, but sometimes I feel like male-female friendships are underrepresented. The underrepresentation leads to people saying “oh it’s impossible for a girl and a guy to be friends without one having feelings for the other!” When that’s just not true. Especially when these two have fought tooth and nail to prove to others that they are nothing but platonic. I would hate to see people being like, “See! We knew you were lying!” When that’s not the case at all.
Sigh, but it’s a fictional romance story so, what can you really expect.
“Eww he literally slept with every girl on campus! Let’s get this poor innocent inexperienced girl a nice ML who’s never slept with anyone else!”
>_> pardon?
Inexperienced? Yes? POOR AND INNOCENT? Yall are babying this (fictional >_>) GROWN ADULT WOMAN. Guys- are y’all forgetting she CHOSE this? She wasn’t coerced or pressured into this shit—she CHOSE THIS!! And not because she thinks sex is some sacred thing—but because she literally wanted to start her hoe phase.
Like yes, she WAS saving her first time for her long term boyfriend, but when she broke up with him—she was ready to throw that shit away!! And it didn’t matter to her who she slept with, it just HAPPENED to be the ML! She didn’t HAVE to, but she CHOSE to! And he HAPPENS to be experienced! Plus she already feels a sense of familiarity with him, is that such a bad thing??
And him “sleeping with every girl on campus” as if they didn’t consent to it or something? Like he’s not coercing girls into sex, like from what we’ve seen, most of these girls KNOW they’re getting into a no-strings attached deal. He’s not a heart breaker, he’s not fooling anyone, he’s just having consensual sex with someone who has the same interest in mind
Y’all are mixing up fuckboys and experienced people. Guys, he’s not player. He’s not playing anyone into having sex. He doesn’t look down on women as a whole, as if they’re toys for him to have fun with. Like guys, he’s just having sex - no more, no less. Mind you, everyone here is an adult responsible of their own actions…
This doesn’t even have to be a gender thing either like LET PEOPLE HAVE SEX JUST TO HAVE SEX!!
Y’all it’s a slow burn, what did y’all expect? Sorry if they don’t wanna rush the story for your convenience >_>
I swear, people’s attention span has gotten so short, they forgot slow burn exists. God forbid an author wants to tell a story and flesh it out! God forbid an author wants to demonstrate a complicated narrative instead of the typical revenge rush and smut plot like…
If y’all want a quick n easy revenge story, you can go find it elsewhere! Some of us here actually enjoy the story >_>
I don’t think y'all are getting the point. The author’s not trying to make you feel bad - they’re telling a story. A real story. People who started out good can turn bad. Some bad people weren’t born this way and it’s just a natural progression of some people and their circumstances.
It’s a “how did we get here?” moment and things are usually never so straightforward. It’s not a straight line and some people’s behavior can’t be explained so simply.
Like it’s not all black and white, people are more complex than you think. And these characters are complex like humans are.
I get not a lot of stories on this site are meant to be think pieces, but this is one you should actually take into consideration when you’re reading. It’s not about the revenge, or the smut. It’s not something for you to take at face value. Idk, to me personally, it feels almost disrespectful to the author when they’re trying to tell this story and people are just focusing on one part instead of the whole.
I GOT HERE TO QUICK… THIS IS SICK!!! It’s too GOOD TO STOP HERE!!!
Everything and everyone is connected. There’s so many little details, you can tell there’s so much love and care put into this work. Everything was all building up to come full circle, this truly was a beautiful read.
DONT DO IT BRO- BE BETTER THAN THIS- DONT KISS HER
I’m sure the K-Drama is good as a stand-alone but I feel like they did some of these characters so dirty
I heard that in an interview, the author didn’t want the K-Drama to follow the OG story 1-for-1 so they changed things up. They added new characters, got rid of some, and kept others.
But the thing I’m pressed about is the change of the original characters who were kept. Like our detective?? OMG they did him dirty. And some of them just feel so incredibly different- it would’ve been better if they just scrapped the character and replaced them with someone else altogether.
And then different characters who died and some who stayed alive- like DAMN. I’m not particularly pressed about it but knowing that some of my favorite Manhwa characters who were practically the same DIED in the K-drama and lived in the original story just makes me feel some type of way.
I think if I hadn’t read the original story that I might’ve liked the K-drama a lot. It’s just a bit of a bummer seeing some of my favorite characters being butchered.
This is a list of straight adult Mangas/ Webtoons that I recommend.
- Good-looking characters
- Good & sensible plot (Fantasy genres included, as long as their problems and solutions are feasible in their world)
- adult love scenes with consent (mostly)
- No harems, rivalry plot (mostly)
Note:
> Some of them are still on-going
If you enjoyed my recommendations, pls recommend this list & leave a comment.
