I believe she activated the relic that will erase the memories if someone betrays her or tries to betray her.
Also, in chapter 26 it’s mentioned that tyer can set a condition for memory erase. Like if you betray tyer, your memory will be erased. I think she did something like this to the grandpa but it looks it won’t work on the grandpa due to his holy power.
Yea it probably works like a vow, if you break it then it will erase the memories of her specifically. Her grandpa probably sensed that she was trying to activate the vow on him when she hugged him
