Wow, I just realized that almost all the romance stories nowadays (straight, BL, GL, heck event he harem ones) are just a single person effort (mostly the partner of the MC doing the heavy lifting, rarely the MC) while this manhwa over here had two people having big fat crushes on each other and giving a lot of effort for the other. Just get married!!
Can understand the priest and his obsession with eggplant like f that shit eggplant is love egpplant is life!!
Ahh... I'm quite the opposite,
I do think the taste of eggplant is good enough but i have ADHD with texture issues and cooked eggplant texture is one of few things i cannot stand.
Reading this manga and seeing how blissful the priest look makes me let eggplant another try recently and legitimately gag as soon as my teeth sink into it
(/TДT)/
Try them super fried. I dislike mushy eggplants too because they nearly have no taste, so by eggplants, I really meant the fried ones. Also try them in very small portions that you can quickly spit out. My brother has the same issue as you and as an adult, he worked around it by finding ways to cook the things he dislikes in the way that his tongue and brain can tolerate. He failed a lot but also succeeded a lot. Although it might seem kind of like torture that he withstood due to his sheer love for food, so I lowkey don't recommend it.
Mc did a surface level research of the current price + he has no hunter license (he doesn't want to register again) so he can't enter the hunter app which is a more appropriate place to sell hunter-related things.
A lot of novel readers actually thought he was naive but like, what else can he do? He needed money ASAP, he has a magic stone he doesn't need and he doesn't have a license so he can't sell it where he's supposed to sell it, and a lot of prices listed on the internet aren't the actual prices when buying it irl (this can mostly be seen currently in real estate like that $2 million house you've been eyeing will become $4 million by the time the agent is done with the house tour fucking scammers) and he's literally a boomer with no one teaching him how the digital world works

The one unique thing about this story is that the side characters are influenced by his cooking enough to willingly try it themselves. I've read all type of cooking/eating fantasy stories (Manga/manhwa/novels, you name it) and I'm actually amazed that this is the first time I've read something like this. Mostly characters that aren't the MC just eat the MC's cooking, go "WOW!", rinse and repeat.
I also like that while his cooking is good, it's not a "novelty", so to say. Monster meat are used as basic ingredients, etc so it's normal for people. While he does have more "high quality" ingredients, it's not earth shattering enough for the diners to swear their first born child just to have a taste lol.
Pretty neat.
