SPOILERS:
Elodie is no Trashta, people. In fact, she's not jealous of Emilia because of the 3 men who love her, but is jealous of her because she is loved for being who she is while Elodie is stuck being an Ophelia replacement. She's actually kind, just as Emilia asessed her to be, and she's capable too. She's the reason why Emilia is even there in the first place (it's her wish). She becomes one of Emilia's greatest allies later on, together with that "useless" Princess who eventually becomes the Queen. Elodie becomes a Countess in her own right, FTW Badass ladies!

The original novel with Meiya as the MC is something I'd like to read unlike those other OG!Novels before the new MC changes it for the better. OG!Ninaina wasn't depicted as a "cruel villainess" but she was Meiya's best friend who had hopes, dreams and until the end, continued to love. The characters are pretty well-rounded and imperfect, which made them perfection in my eyes. I hope Meiya is not an evil bitch in this. I really like her character.
