I will be honest, both of them is wrong in this particular situation. But I sympathize with the MC more since the ML took away his autonomy since they were young. He made it so the MC cant do anything without him and has to include hin in his life. And the amount of delusion that the ML has to think that they were in love atp was insane to have especially after they weren't talking that often just before that outing. The whole story gives dubcon, and delusion atp.

This was honestly the nail in the coffin for me with suah. It was already a red flag how he always was hovering over the ML, and made it impossible to live life without him.
