If you watch/read news etc you'll be surprised of the amount of degeneracy and horrifying things that happens all the times. The worst unimaginable things I heard all happens in real life for example... Chances these things happens irl are not 0 basically is my point. There's a saying if you can imagine it you or someone could or it has been done before.
I think the author is going for the Killing and Stalking strategy and what many tiktokers do the "I do/say something that is absolutely immorla, idiotic, scandalous, etc so people talk about me and interact with me (in this case share, talk, call out webtoon)" and this gain attention.
But they could also using the Remarried Empress strategy and what soap opera and reality shows do. Keep the evil and unfair guy on the winning side and make protag go through all kind humiliation so the readers gets fired up and viciously stay tuned to the story because they're waiting for that "sweet sweet Karma" moment. (used often in isekai villainess with forced pity on the first chapters).
This has to be the worse manhwa i’ve ever read. not in the sense that the art or story line sucks, but like in every aspect where this tops every “rape, psychological, horror” manhwa i’ve ever read. like this is the not even “fun” to read where it has you wondering where the next chapter is going to lead to. Obey me, Warehouse, and many similar have somewhat of a story line which shows the reasoning of why the plot is occurring. this however does not… I can even say that Sadistic Beauty: Side Story (all bark and no bite) was better than this even tho there are some similarities.
i’m pretty sure this manhwa is worse than any harada manga i’ve ever read. like i cannot think of one manga harada wrote that tops this manhwas extent to rape w no reasoning behind it.
i know that there’s only 35 chapters and perhaps the author is planning to make this a very long manhwa but even so, usually there’d be a storyline where it shows anything but consistent sex and rape.
(also the story line kinda does.. there’s no background info other than the MC being poor and used to experience domestic violence. and no matter what the MC did, which there’s no way in hell that he did so something; nothing sums up to what he’s experiencing. he’s a victim of Stockholm syndrome, we see it in one of the flash backs to where the MC and the MC’s crush were in High school)
anyways, to anyone who wants to read trauma, psychological manhwa with a hope of romance, this is not the one.
i really liked this manga (aside from the rape) i know it’s very hard for other to understand how the story came to be but human emotions are very complex so i think that’s one of the reasons why i liked this one. it was more realistic and showed that not all relationships work out easily and everything isn’t perfect. people have their flaws and everyone’s is perfect. i love the art style and the plot was quite interesting, i can understand from the ukes point of view how delusional masterbation is quite satisfying (also partly why i liked this one) anyways, the seme was very toxic hated the way he threatened the relationship every time he got insecure but i’m glad he fixed that habit after they both were honest with each other. ALSO SHOUT OUT TO THE MOM I LOVE HER SM LMAOOO!! but as i said i liked this manga a lot don’t have any idea why people didn’t like this one, there are definitely more fucked up and horrible written stories out there so just go read something else if you aren’t happy with it haha
I’m okay with it but it would be better if the seme wasn’t a pos, it was a good plot, just take out the fact that the seme LITERALLY RAPED him, and that he’s just a dick and decides to break up with him js bc he got lost and misunderstood and assumed instead of communicating.
chapter 1 was just a rollercoaster of emotions. chapter 7 was cute and sad, chapter 8 almost made it up there but then he got raped so… there’s that •___•
this story is straight up shit… i feel like the story would’ve made more sense if we had more background on this person who’s grave ig belonged to.
ex: if the uke already had trauma from this amira person (i think that’s they're name) or sexual abuse from that person then it would have made a bit more sense psychologically why he stayed with the seme the whole time.
but since that wasn’t the case (seeing as the uke’s family had a somewhat good relationship with that person) then this whole story line kinda made no sense and was basically just a victim getting attached to the abuser, hence Stockholm syndrome.
LMAOO the meme in chapter 2 was so fucking hilarious anyways, this story was interesting. the kid was overly obsessed with sex though. if this story were to take place when they’re in college i feel like this would’ve been better planned out and written and a lot more kinky shit would’ve happened alongside with that. kinda hate the fact that they had sex at school like 5 times LMAO but wtv, i love the art style and both of them are cute haha

Jo needs to let that man go, Tj knows that ian is better off without him but can’t help himself. you. i feel bad for Jo cs he’s getting lead on and lied to by ian. ian doesn’t like Jo, he just likes his presence and how he makes his life “better”. Tj is more comforting because the type of lifestyle he brings is what ian is used to. anyways in conclusion, the only thing keeping me rn is the art style. im team Jo but if ian ends up w Tj, i won’t be too mad either
