honestly ian is the problem, and atleast he’s self aware of that LMFAOO. Jo needs to let that man go, Tj knows that ian is better off without him but can’t help himself. you. i feel bad for Jo cs he’s getting lead on and lied to by ian. ian doesn’t like Jo, he just likes his presence and how he makes his life “better”. Tj is more comforting because the type of lifestyle he brings is what ian is used to. anyways in conclusion, the only thing keeping me rn is the art style. im team Jo but if ian ends up w Tj, i won’t be too mad either
I hope that this is not based on a real person but if it is I really hope this is to help people see what domestic abuse and human trafficking may be like. whoever wrote this and came up w this shit if it’s not based on a real story which i doubt it is, is an actual crazy menace and i hope that it was not written by a person who fantasizes and loves BL. especially by a women.
This has to be the worse manhwa i’ve ever read. not in the sense that the art or story line sucks, but like in every aspect where this tops every “rape, psychological, horror” manhwa i’ve ever read. like this is the not even “fun” to read where it has you wondering where the next chapter is going to lead to. Obey me, Warehouse, and many similar have somewhat of a story line which shows the reasoning of why the plot is occurring. this however does not… I can even say that Sadistic Beauty: Side Story (all bark and no bite) was better than this even tho there are some similarities.
i’m pretty sure this manhwa is worse than any harada manga i’ve ever read. like i cannot think of one manga harada wrote that tops this manhwas extent to rape w no reasoning behind it.
i know that there’s only 35 chapters and perhaps the author is planning to make this a very long manhwa but even so, usually there’d be a storyline where it shows anything but consistent sex and rape.
(also the story line kinda does.. there’s no background info other than the MC being poor and used to experience domestic violence. and no matter what the MC did, which there’s no way in hell that he did so something; nothing sums up to what he’s experiencing. he’s a victim of Stockholm syndrome, we see it in one of the flash backs to where the MC and the MC’s crush were in High school)
anyways, to anyone who wants to read trauma, psychological manhwa with a hope of romance, this is not the one.
