Re-reading this made me realize I definitely prefer the novel version more and I prefer the novel ending compare to the manhwa.
And yeah, the art is stunning—I’ll give it that. Edith is amazing, and Killian is seriously hot.(▰˘◡˘▰)
The author stays in Rhyses body and life continues with Cliff and Rhyse marrying and becoming the duke and duchess to be but the author can’t come to terms with the world being real and not a novel anymore. She does a lot of stuff that ruins the rudwick image and so Cliff tries to make the relationship work but they end up divorcing and he marries a calmer lady. Edith and Killain go to their territory and do everything they planned to do in the land to make it better. The novel is way better so I really recommend it
FL is such a disappointment. She's acting like a child when she is 20yr female inside. I personally don't like that.
There are two sides to me when it comes to this arguement (I have not read this yet, but was looking at topics to see if it was ass or good)
1. If you're going to make them act like a child, just make them a child, you can still have them regress or something, just have them be young when they died, or have them be so disconnected from normalcy that they never developed mentally past a child(aka was literally never taught anything and was held in a cell type shit)
Or
2. If you can't or won't do the first option, at least talk about why they act childish, like maybe their body doesn't respond to them, or their thoughts get turned into baby babble despite their best efforts or what have you. (Basically most the regress to baby stuff doesn't even bother to do this, they'll give them a lisp, or have them be more emotional but then just have a single throwaway line about 'why am I being so childish' like lean into it, give a clear dichotomy between what they can physically get across and mentally do)

Ngl I find the FL super annoying. When I started reading this I imagined her to be different somehow in further chapters but she didn't.
