i love this sm cause jaeyi and ideum have such a mature relationship to a point where it feels real. despite the comical start of the story, their relationship is not weird or unrealistic like most BLs, it’s genuinely how some relationships start and develop in real life which i love to see.

I like the way the author is exploring the unhealthy attachment gidam had towards yohan.
It’s a very realistic portrayal of a toxic relationship and it makes me feel so bad for gidam.
It’s realistic how he is unable to detach himself from yohan, from the dependency he had towards him when he was alive, to his traumatic death, everything clicks in place. All this trauma and sadness piled up which led him to become clearly hyper sexual and naturally submissive to whatever happens to him, reason to why Gidam pretends, or rather can’t fathom, the different ways he gets abused by yohan.
The way Gidam crashed out at Neulham was also extremely realistic. Neulham tried to help him, he slapped reality across Gidam’s face who, in his vulnerability, couldn’t accept it.
Basically this manhwa is very good but it’s makes me so fucking sad for Gidam PLEASE GIVE THIS DUDE A BREAK
THIS. I feel so sad seeing Gidam treat himself so badly. He should be seeking help, therapy, idk but he goes out of his way looking for the ghost of a person who so wasn't worth it lowering his own value and self-esteem as he goes.
The environment that shaped him is also to blame for how miserable he is right now and how much hurt he could put up with to at least try to feel accepted.

Ppl just like to ignore the psychological aspect of his whole personality I guess, tho it's like yelling right in our faces how Gidam is so burdened by guilt, shame and self-hatred. It's easier for him to deal with his problems with that head empty no thoughts persona since he had no support from anywhere. That groomer pervert making the victims the ones to blame and ofc that "satan's temptation" line from his father just sealed the deal and the only one person precious to him ended up being as toxic as the rest.
The whole thing makes my stomach churn, it's very visceral imo. Like how much can your head even function if all you know is negativity.
