sorry if im wrong, but is this made by ai? I've been noticing small inconsistencies with some of the face structure (iris, lashes,etc) , and the wobbly/unsharp lineart does not help either. It's been bothering me so much I can't digest the story properly
As far as I can tell no… it could be a case of partial ai usage if you’ve noticed it, such as touch ups, or even base art thats been generated and then gone over with human editing.
But it doesn’t look wholly generated if thats what you meant. (Im an illustrator so I ought to be able to see it… maybe im getting old ;-;)

I'll reread this and again and actually finish the last season, cuz i was low-key disappointed that there's no proper villain. they didn't follow the novel to which was okay to me but i wished someone lived up to the villain's role a bit better.
Who was the real villain in the novel? Was it far off from the novel? I've reread this MANY times and I do feel the part where they were trying to defeat Aeternitas and he kept jumping from one body to another like a flea felt a little cheesy because Lucas was obviously OP so he wasn't really taking it seriously either. So that part felt like it dragged on. I do get that the real challenge was more of the familial relationship. Reconciliation and stuff but yeah. That part with Aeternitas was very meh.
I also didn't read the novel, but I used to be in a server all about wmmap, pretty use jeanette was one of the main villain in the novel, and her mother (?unsure abt this one) both of them was like real evil
