i have a genuine question, and i hope this isn’t offensive or anything, but whenever i read korean webtoons set in college, the university is always called “hanguk university” … is there like a reason for that ? is it like a super well known school or is it just an easy name
It’s very prestigious university in Seoul so if the story is about rich or well-off kids they will likely use the well known name like that to let readers know more about the setting overall

hnaguk univeristy is not a real university in korea haha theyre not allowed to use real uni names so its kind of a play off of korea university which is rlly prestigious and high up in the rankings
It's just something fictional in fictional world. Like they use vtube instead of you tube. For McDonald's they will use alternative name and logo for it. So for any famous uni, artists are using hangkuk uni.
