I can relate to miwa a lot. You know, dating someone on a whim while still having feelings for someone from highschool. Even her relationship from the past is almost the same as mine except she's not my senpai but a classmate/ bestfriend at the time. We were in a pull push relationship for four years, and eventually i call it quits because i don't feel like we're on a same page, but goddamn i was so inlove with her.

First year college, i met my current partner. We dated on a whim. Although i relate to miwa a lot, my personality is more like Saeko, and the one from my past resembled Miwa so much. But the thing is, my current partner behaves more like Yuria but fiercer, ig? A total opposite of the girl i was so inlove with.

We've been dating for almost five years now, ever since college up to now that we both had a job. And even though I'm with this person, there were times that the person i used to love still lingers inside my head and i always do my best to remove her from my system.

Fast forward 2 weeks ago, after 7 years of no contact, i manage to see her. She lost her mom, and she had no one except her one and only brother. We hugged, talked, and even smile to each other before parting.

It felt surreal, almost felt like my feelings and memories with her came back to me all at once. But after that, it reminded me that "wow, this person is just human, after all." Maybe im too infatuated with her because after seeing her from a very long time, i feel like i am completely letting go of her and accepting that this person will forever belong to my 17 years old self, and not for my current matured self. I've outgrown my feelings for her.

I also fell in love with my partner more because I know that she loves me more than anyone, and nostalgia from someone I used to have a thing with is nothing compared to our shared life for five years.

Anyways, I hope i get to marry my girlfriend. And to the person from my past, I hope she live a happy life and never see her again.
