I don't remember ever posting a comment before. This story is just so utterly confusing that I can't help myself right now. This isn't a spoiler, but the protagonist—not “Pearl Boy”—is a completely different character compared to the beginning. Visually, he hasn't changed that drastically, but it's noticeable, and he's just developed a totally different personality. At first, he was kind of dumb and naive, but lovable, and suddenly he’s the most calculating, ruthless mafia gangster out there—but without a smooth transition. And yeah, little pieces of his past are revealed, but they still don’t explain why his personality was the complete opposite before, and that totally throws me off, and I just can’t bring myself to keep reading the story. I’m on chapter 47 now and just can’t get past it.
Is it just me who noticed this?!

I just binge read the brilliant BL works- Reunion and Ways of Parting back to back in one day....couldn't sleep all night....was bawling my eyes out. I wanna get tortured more. Do your worst with the recommendations.
