This story could have been about child adoption as a gay couple and overcoming the obstacles of societal stigma and parenthood! The stakes could still be high, and it would make so much more sense than whatever this is... The characters do not even feel the same either
I started this in middle school, and I am now in college. This feels so bittersweet
