The ml manages to remove the explosive in the Mc brain. There is a complete mess where the Mc and ml try and drop everything behin(ml is the owner of the brothel) but as they try and leave via helicopter, there's a large fight and the ml almost dies but the Mc resurrects ml. ( it's been a year or two since I read this. This is about all I read nd then stopped)

ML gives mc placebo and exchanges the meds to candy that looks like meds with a excuse it’s a new type of medicine

Yaba would experience withdrawal symptoms so he would start to see the worms again and talk shit about him.

So ML’s plan will fail, why? Because his brother will get better. His illness would be miraculously healed. Which made ML’s plan fail since they didn’t see it happening at all. ML then started to get a little bit suspicious that yaba is a siren like cocaine and he kind of blamed yaba for it. so ML’s plan stopped being with yaba for a while m

ML acted like some playboy and invited all singers to his boat party, The bar manager is suspicious of ML and is Jealous of ML so he prevents yaba from going with ML except work so ML asked someone else to act like he wanted to “rent” yaba in the boat party

So ML was hiding in the room to meet Yaba there and they did a scan. Cause you know how he has strong withdrawal symptoms now so that also heighten his anxiety and Yaba kept telling ML about the bomb in his head, ML wanted to show Yaba that It’s probably not true or something, but he kind of believes Yaba as well but it’s 50-50. But when the scan was done they saw a gps chip that was modified as a bomb inside yaba’s head. ML promised Yaba he will take the bomb off somehow

So fast forward, ML made a plan and worked on it so he could steal yaba and take the bomb off. So since the chip is also a gps he can’t really just take Yaba in hospital since they could track him easily. So what ML did is he staged a car accident, he bought a dead body (this is where that necrophilia suspicion of yaba lol) that he used to replaced yaba’s body in a staged car accident. Because of the shocking news that yaba “died” the bar manager did not think straight and didn’t check the gps, he mourned fr fr he was in love with yaba and he took the corpse, dressed it and cried on it for days

Meanwhile ML took yaba to a hospital and made his friend do the operation which was successful. ML hid yaba in his house and met the snake which fell in love with yaba

After yaba’s funeral cocaine was indenial that yaba died and would not accept it, so he remembered the gps and he manage to talk to bar manager about it. Bar manager checked and the gps is in some forest so their suspicion was yaba escape but who helped him, they suspect the ML


With what happened cocaine became mad cause ML didnt love him and took saved yaba so he told the bar manager that there is another “siren” that he knows.


So here is the background of yaba and cocaine’s being. Yaba and cocaine ware descendent of a siren. There are 3 types of them because the sirens are 3 sisters. First kind is cocaine’s so their kind can ONLY heal they are addicting but their song feel like you ate something refreshing for your health. 2nd kind can ONLY harm and kill and 3rd kind is the rarest Can BOTH heal and kill which is yaba’s kind.

There is the rarest one which is a perfect siren who can both heal and kill and also resurrect someone who died (foreshadowing?) but here is the catch the more sirens sings the lesser their lifespan is. And if a siren who aims for someone but their song is ignored they get extremely frustrated and would go as far as kill that person


So this was introduced in the novel after the bar manager talked to the scientist that his father had an affair with, she then explained the sirens which was recorded.


So back to cocaine, because of what cocaine told the bar manager, he started to look for the siren cocaine is talking about while tracking where yaba is and he eventually found him in ML’s house. They raid the house when ML when to a crucial business trip (it’s where he could steal the company). This time ML had suspicions that yaba could be a siren but isn’t sure. Bar manager raided the house and forcing to take yaba, the snake protected yaba but it was slashed and is in the verge of dying, yaba took it and hid in one of the rooms he tried singing to it to and the snake’s wounds closed up.


Bar manager manage to open the room and catches yaba. Yaba then on his reflex screamed so loud that some of the manager’s people got their head blown. Manager then figured out what cocaine meant about what he said about the positions of the doctors and the manager when that incident happened 10yrs ago. He figured out that he didn’t died because he was standing behind the doctor in front of yaba hence it blocked yaba’s sound wave, all along yaba is the one who killed the doctors


But yaba’s brother came and “saved” yaba
So yaba’s brother is plot twist a bad news. The guy is romantically in love with yaba so he took yaba to the woods and hid him in his shelter. ML came back and is going to rescue yaba, ML’s brother who also romantically in love with yaba went looking for him. Manager too. So cocaine lead all of them to the woods where yaba is. Yaba escaped the shelter before all of these creepy people came and now they are chasing him.

After a few chasing, yaba’s brother and bar manager fought for yaba, bar manager kind of defeated the brother but ML came and they fought. ML manage to kill the bar manager but was impaled by yaba’s brother with a huge garden scissors which ML dies


Yaba went insane after ML’s death that he started to sing a different song, the song lured all of the people even the corpses and yaba Ate them, yes he did cannibalism and then he sang to ML and it regenerated ML’s heart, saving him


Ofc there is a price for such act, yaba end up losing his voice and cocaine who witness it lost his hearing. ML’s brother who saw it from a far became more addicted to yaba (he was sent to prison)



That’s the end of the main story.
The extra has more interesting plot twist too but it will be very long

Well, In extra ML and Yaba’s relationship is doing great and peaceful Yaba was able to get an implants for his balls and ML was able to free all the singers but the bar is still operating but this time no more castrato singers or healers. Cocaine isn’t doing well, for his whole life singing was his value so losing hear means he can’t hear himself so he can’t control his voice means he can’t sing, He went almost insane with it, just randomly throw things and would sometimes harm himself. The other castrato singers who has crush on cocaine kept staying by his side and take care of him.

Well Yaba and ML’s relationship began to be shaken when ML went to a business trip and Yaba went to ML’s study, he found paradiso bar’s files and earning summary. Yaba was like “why does he has this” then he understood that ML is in fact THE OWNER of the bar, yeah that shitty bar manager works for him unknowingly. Then Yaba began to think of ML is the owner then that would mean ML has contributed on his suffering then remembers what the bar manager said back then that it was not his idea to put a bomb on the singers, someone gave him that idea and yes it was the ML who told the bar manager to modify a gps to a bomb. Yaba was shaken with the info he knew but choose to bury it behind the back of his mind and refused to dig deeper cause he knows if he digs deep confirms all of this he will hate ML and break the relationship.

So ML came back from business trip and Yaba acted like how he was before, One day Yaba went for a walk and meet Meth, Meth then was happy to found yaba and took him to the warehouse that all of the castrato singers live. Then he saw the hysterical cocaine there, cocaine told all the castratos to leave as he wanted to talk to yaba so both were left alone, cocaine proposed that they heal each other, so cocaine would sing for yaba so yaba could talk and sing again then yaba would sing for cocaine so cocaine’s hearing will be fixed. Yaba declined because he has this dumb belief that if he started talking and singing something bad will happen to the ML, because he believes that he traded his voice for ML’s life and if he starts to talk again the sirens will take back ML’s life. Cocaine still sang and Yaba ran away.

Few days Yaba’s throat starts to itch and few weeks he started to be able to form words then he started talking again, although it wasn’t as good as a normal person can. ML then hired a speech therapist for him. ML then forbids him of singing because of that info that siren’s life becomes thinner if they sing a lot. This time since Yaba saw how the singers are still struggling in life that file bothers Yaba and started to be a little distant to ML. ML who is sensitive to Yaba noticed it quickly, btw every time Yaba meets with meth ML would sometimes drop him off so he knows where the castratos live and how they are doing.

Later something happened to ML’s company that ML had to stay for a while and added that ML was accused of crimes (not all accusations are a lie tho) so ML had to clean his name and started to pull all nighters. Yaba thought that this was the price of being able to talk again. So Yaba’s anxiety disorder began to show again. Later when they met up in the parking lot, ML confronted Yaba about weird he is acting then somehow their convo went to about how he is the owner of paradiso, during confrontation ML realize if Yaba would know it fully and would have evidence to everything Yaba would 100% leave him so he started to threaten Yaba saying that he would do everything that Yaba is thinking if Yaba runs away and he would chase Yaba anywhere


He also has Yaba’s brother. So that guy despite being the one who killed ML in the dispute in the forest in main story, ML didn’t kill him cause he plans on using the brother to threaten Yaba if he runs away so he kept him in a asylum.


So ML was able to clear his name and Yaba didn’t delve deeper about the bar issue. With Yaba’s suggestion, ML helped the castrato singers to clear their debts, remove the chips, give them legal identification documents and gave them 5 million won each. Later the castratos used it to open a cafe but it went bankrupt lol


Yaba then suggest the castratos should stop with ideas that they think are quick cash such as business and should study first and pursue labor instead. In their cafe a band went there and they began to perform, castrato singers also back them up and sang then yaba began to sang and all of them became speechless, ML took yaba and left. Later the band group manipulates the castrato singers to help kidnap Yaba which was successful, they offered Yaba to be in their band and Yaba refused Yaba then escapes


Soooo about cocaine. His castrato singer friends began to told him that they are looking forward for cocaine to hear again and they started to tell him that if cocaine becomes well they want to pursue being professional singers and cocaine in the center . This gave cocaine motivation as he realize that he has no choice but to find a way to be able to hear again because his friends are still leaning on him. So he was able to gain his hearing by the help of a rich chairman that he healed before during his time in the bar. Chairman was able to secure and high quality hearing aid and began to help cocaine to get exposure by letting cocaine sing in events where there are rich people. Yaba saw him in one of the events when ML took yaba with him.

So yeah cocaine would probably die early in his 30s if he is lucky

Hahahaha after I finished the novel, that was exactly what was in my mind

Cause if you really analyze it, it was somehow tragic. With the info being dump in main story and extra hints that cocaine will die young, Yaba end up staying with the dude who made him suffer (tho not 100% but tbh ML don’t deserve him), Castratos Singers were not educated and doesn’t have quite experience to survive the world at their age. They were sheltered away from the world for so long and leaned on to luxury goods during their suffering so now they have to walk on their own despite freedom they really have no idea nor a guide. No one wants to hire them either cause don’t have experiences, and their singing is good but not exactly like cocaine and Yaba that could be addicting

Omg yaba is truly a siren , everyone are in love with him! Even the snake bruh lol
