I think this is more of a historical romance that happens to be yaoi. the story is slow, it feels like when I first read apothecary diaries. the world building is more detailed than your typical manhwa. it's almost equal part to the romance. but it's interesting to know the lore. as for the morals of the story... I don't understand why people expect the characters to be modern saints when the theme is demon, sect and power is displayed by killing your enemies.
